ROGER WATERS: US + THEM, chronicles the acclaimed 2017-2018 tour of the iconic Pink Floyd artist. As the founding member, lyricist, composer and creative force behind Pink Floyd, US + THEM presents Waters powerful music in stunning form and highlights itsâ message of human rights, liberty and love. Based around his acclaimed, sold-out US + THEM worldwide tour of 2017-18, comprising a total of 156 shows to 2.3 million people across the globe, it features classic songs from The Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Animals, Wish You Were Here as well as his most recent album, Is This The Life We Really Want?Waters powerfully demonstrates that he is, at heart, a musical activist and one of the most passionate political commentators of his time. He has dedicated his life to fighting against those who seek to control our lives and destroy our planet. Welcome to the Machine and Another Brick In The Wall Part II, are a stark reminder of the bleak warnings that he gave decades ago about alienation, displacement, greed, suffering, destruction and loss. And yet the humanity of the songwriter cannot be more plainly seen than in Wish You Were Here, because, although he presents a grim picture of the state of the world, ultimately his message is one of hope through unity and love.Directed by Sean Evans and Roger Waters, the film provides a visceral sense of what it was like to be there. Using the most innovative digital and audio technology available, this state-of-the-art show encapsulates a series of breath-taking visual, audio and sensory experiences. It captures Watersâ legendary live performances and takes the audience on an emotionally charged, thought-provoking journey.BAND:Dave Kilminster: GuitarsBo Koster: KeyboardsJon Carin: Keyboards and GuitarsLucius â Jess Wolfe & Holly Laessig: VocalsIan Ritchie: SaxophoneGus Seyffert: Guitars and BassJonathan Wilson: Guitars and VocalsJoey Waronker: DrumsTRACKLISTING:IntroSpeak To MeBreatheOne of These DaysTimeBreathe (Reprise)The Great Gig in the SkyWelcome to the MachineDĂ©jĂ VuThe Last RefugeePicture ThatWish You Were HereThe Happiest Days of Our LivesAnother Brick in the Wall Part 2Another Brick in the Wall Part 3DogsPigs (Three Different Ones)MoneyUs & ThemBrain DamageEclipseThe Last Refugee (Reprise)DĂ©jĂ Vu (Reprise)BONUS MATERIALS:âA FLEETING GLIMPSEâ DOCUMENTARYâCOMFORTABLY NUMBâ (LIVE PERFORMANCE)âSMELL THE ROSESâ (LIVE PERFORMANCEROGER WATERS: US + THEM - DVD

Relive the evening
I saw this concert live in Birmingham with my 20 yr old daughter, who thoroughly enjoyed it. This helps us relive the evening. The quality is spot on as is the sound. We play it back using my old stereo system with real studio monitors. Wack it up, with no distortion in the soundtrack. If you like Pink Floyd and enjoy Roger Waters don't miss out with this. It's a bit hard hitting at times, but you expect that with Waters. If it wasn't hard hitting it would be a true Waters show. Enjoy

Horrible cardboard sleeve and audio problems
After listening to Roger Waters exceptional COVID 19 version of mother I really was looking forward to us + them, I really like Roger Waters but this was a bit disappointing in places, for example The Great Gig In The Sky, female volcano part, so important but half way through their great performance an issue with the audio, either sounded like a bad splice or a volume problem. Ok in fairness at the moment Iâve not listened to this on high quality equipment, just through the tv and I know this could be the problem, but others are saying the same about the audio. After I listen to this on a big hifi we will see. Further to this, Iâve now listened to this from the Roger Waters You tube page and the quality is very good so I think the audio issues could be due to the sound being reproduced via tv speakers and not hi quality hifi or surround sound equipment. , for this reason Iâm changing my reveiw to 5 stars

UK Blu Ray has Dolby Atmos!
I seen the show at Liverpool and it was amazing, one of the best days of my life. Roger and the band were just incredible and I was moved to tears a couple of times they were that great. A brief review of the Blu Ray, the picture and sound quality is excellent, there is 3 sound options uncompressed 2.0 LPCM, Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 5.1. I screen shot the menu as another review stated there was no Atmos track but maybe they have a different version. I'm very impressed with the way the show was filmed, it's similar to the way The Wall was filmed. It was so great to see Dogs and Pigs performed live. There's a few extra features, a 15 minute documentary, Smell the Roses Live and Comfortably Numb Live. My one slight complaint is just the packaging is very thin card so you just need be careful getting the disc out, my dad would probably accidentally rip it to bits if he tried to get the disc out. It's pretty much the same packaging used for the Amused To Death Blu Ray.Highly recommended.

For the price, of (4) teas & a slice....
Yeah.... it's well done all round, great stage show, great music, especially the laser Dark Side album cover... but...I'm personally tired of seeing politics shoved right across pretty much the whole show. It's not as good as previous blu-rays/DVDs for some reason ... can't quite put my finger on it. I prefer the various album track selection to, say, one album, but this isn't as good as The Wall show. It seems a bit lame somehow. The band is essentially the same as in previous shows but they all look dead bored. I'm fairly sure a lot of Waters vocals are dubbed too. Then there's the audience? Gesticulating and virtually shouting every word of every song.... most of these were born well after the likes of the Mary Whitehouse trying to suppress broadcasting lyrics. More like a football crowd. I remember the shows I went to by tuneless shouting .... akin a Take That concert. Maybe Waters should spit at them a bit.Plus... it's not a full show.... why? Then that's the Blu-ray packaging? A thin piece of card, cellophane wrapped and small booklet. For about the same price, compare that to the deluxe version of The Wall? Maybe it's an Eco statement? đ I fell asleep twice too.Mine has Atoms tho.... Someone said it didn't?I'm not saying it's bad it's just that I expected a whole lot more and felt somewhat disappointed.

Brilliant emotional rollercoaster. 5*
Roger Waters is one of the very few artists that can literally move an audience to tears. A great songwriter who, visibly frustrated, if not angry, at the state of the world, can inform and discuss through his songs without being preachy and always move and entertain his audience. The musicians, especially the guitars, are outstanding; great versions of Dogs, Pigs (three different ones) and Comfortably Numb. And Lucius provide much more than just backing vocals. As you'd expect from '(ex) Floyd quality assurance', audio and visual fidelity on this disc is top drawer.I never managed to get to the concerts so this recording is as good a substitute as I'd ever hope for.5 stars. Plus add another star for Roger with his top off backstage, phwoar! haha! Nice one Rog.

Happy memories of an unforgettable show
Makes an excellent job of bringing back the night I saw Roger perform on the âUs and Themâ tour, and I will watch this again and again . My only complaint is that âComfortably Numbâ is in the âExtra Featuresâ section rather than being shown at the end of concert, and much of the accompanying action shows Roger backstage rather than onstage. That it is there is the main thing, however it does rather break the continuity which is why I have had to take a star off.

Fantastic Visuals Audio Musicianship - I didn't go but I feel I have Experienced it...
I went to The Wall concert in Manchester a few years back and was blown away with the visuals and the concert. US & THEM takes this up a notch in all aspects (wish I had gone to it now). These concerts were an Event not just a concert. The chosen tracks are neatly woven together into a visual and audio feast with some hard hitting subjects tackled head on. Terrific outstanding brilliant - if you like Roger Waters or Pink Floyd this is a must buy.
