Nothing Better!!!
Pants are incredible. Treated for moisture and wind. Fit perfectly, I’m 5’5” and 27” waist ordered size 42.Unbelievably comfortable, tons of pockets, knife pocket & strap down, and have vents you can open or close. Can’t wait for my next trip to the Smokies!P.S. you won’t find a better quality hiking or climbing pant. Look into the company history, very interesting.

Well Worth It!
I am 6' and about 165 pounds - I purchased Euro 46 or US 30"-31" in regular length. Figure out your waist size AND the length. Fjällräven makes short, regular and long. Also - Vidda pro pants come vented and regular. Vented has a stretch material crotch and zippers on both outer thighs for ventilation. Pro regular does not and has a slightly different pocket configuration. Make sure you know which one you are ordering.I wear them any day of the week - not just hiking. They are also excellent for travel day. Keeps your wallet, passport and boarding pass in the front under a snap-close pocket for easy access through security and for boarding. In addition, they are more difficult for a pickpocket to get through in the big cities. These pants also have boot hooks at the bottom for serious terrain and you can close them around your boots at the cuffs. Again, top quality and will not disappoint. Don't waste your time or money on cheap Chinese junk. If you are serious, these are worth the money. These are top quality pants and will not disappoint.

Good, but heavier fabric would limit use
I've never owned a pair of hiking pants and IO love the idea of having pants that are optimized for hiking. I also got the Abiskos which were light enough to seem useful throughout the year, with layering under in winter, except for the summer, but the Vidas seemed like they be limited to November-April. In general, The fabric is just stretchy enough, the cuff stays are useful in keeping the legs down to avoid tick bites, the fit is optimized for the sort of motions you make while hiking, and the pockets are plenty. Two drawbacks: a lot of my hiking involves walking through towns/cities to trailheads and even though these are great hiking pants, they are still hiking pants, and it looks a bit odd walking down the street in them. that's minor though. More major though is that i simply couldn't justify dropping almost $200 on a pair of pants. I know if I ended up using the pants a lot it might be worth it, but for the amount of hiking I do just making use of the sweatpants I already own seems better from a consumption/financial/closet-space standpoint. But, if I was able to go hiking every weekend, and I lived in a colder climate (or we had no global warming!) then I would probably be able to justify all those things.

Great shorts
I've been buying Fjallraven pants for a few years now. They are pricey but very durable and hold up great. I figured I'd try their shorts. Not much cheaper than the long pants but if you want quality they are worth it.

Durable / perfect
I am a 5'11 and weight about 180lbs and the size 48 regular fits perfectly. I bought these pants because my old Columbia light hiking pair ripped in the sacral/bottom after extensive hiking. I wore these pants during a recent ten day trip to Alaska and they were perfect. The weather was miserable with rain and even some snow, but I was warm the entire time. I found that a simple layer of longjohns underneath the pants works well in the colder temps. When the weather was a little nicer being able to open the sides of the pants and "vent," was truly a game changer. I would not buy these pants without the side vent because they would be too warm during summer trips. Be careful and make sure to read the instructions on the Fjallraven website before washing. I used a little bit of cold water and was able to wash the mud of my pants without any difficulty. I plan on putting the wax on them for next years travels.

They thought of everything
Just got these pants and not only do they fit perfect, I can tell the quality is very good. There is stretchy material in the groin and down the inner legs for expansion and ease of moving. The axe pocket fits my 6” SRK perfectly. Looking forward to testing them out this weekend.

GREAT TECHNICAL PANTS
These are great technical pants with about as many features as you can fit on a pair of pants. They are true to size but slim fitting, I'd say. I'm 6ft, 32" waste, 32" leg, 160lb and they're a spot on fit - I ordered the 32". Cargo pockets are tight fitting so not allot of room for storage, except small or thin items. There is a soft stretch crotch gusset which helps with movement. For outdoorsman who don't want baggy pants, these are great.

Great pants, but the distributer can't seem to send me the size I order
Pants are very well made. HOWEVER, I've ordered twice now and both time the "long" inseam size has showed up. I guess I'll return them again and just order from fjallraven directly.

Super Passform
Die Hose passt super und ist sehr pflegeleicht. Trocknet schnell nach dem Waschen. Eine sehr robuste Freizeithose, ich bin begeistert.

these trousers are not water resistant or waterproof
I purchased these trousers based on all the reviews which have been so positive, however as soon as you get into a heavy shower these trousers act like a sponge and they collect all water so this is clearly false advertisement. Based on this I am no longer using these trousers when there is any rain forecast that day
