Nice Concept - Poor Execution
I have had these lights for almost two years now, and the experience has been sub-par. They are a good idea, but they have one major failing. The lights will not stay connected to the network over the long term. I have to reset the connection at least twice a month, if not more. I have contacted the company multiple times since I installed them, but they have no working solution.The lights seem to reset randomly. It does not appear to happen because of the switch toggling or leaving them on or off from the switch for any length of time. We have experimented with all that. They just seem to forget they were connected. The downside of this is that they must be reset with the Smart App and then reconnected with Alexa groups EVERY SINGLE TIME.Aside from that issue, I have had to replace 6 of the original 8 (out of warranty) due to the warm-white LEDs failing.Not great.

Flicker Issues
Great while it lasts but they have started to fail with flickering issues within 2 years. I wonder if there is a way to purchase the wafer light only without the metal transformer casing.

Neat Versatile Light
I had this light installed by an electrician over my bath tub. It is controlled by the Lumary app and is relatively easy to use. You can adjust its color and brightness. There are also preset themes that you can use and there is. a music setting, that my kids like, where the light dances with the music. I have not experienced the issues mentioned in other reviews such as flickering or the light dropping off of the app and having to be re-installed. Knock on wood.This is a cool light light that is rated for damp areas. It is said to be Alexa enabled as well, but I have not used that feature. I strictly control it by the app. This is a nice light and I recommend getting it professionally installed if you do purchase it.

Not worth it
I bought them for my whole house. I’ve barely had them for a year, and two of the lights are completely out. If I turn them off with the app, they turn themselves back on randomly, disconnect and reset randomly, and constantly flicker. Do not buy.

Easy to configure.. no recess can, make the hole and it snaps into place in seconds...

Lights began to flicker
After having the lights installed in our kitchen for about 2 years, they each began flickering when set to 100% brightness. I deleted and reinstalled each one with no success. Replaced them with new ones which work great (not an electrical problem).

Avoid these lights, they stopped working
The media could not be loaded. These lights are extremely frustrating and subpar. One of them doesn't turn on. Another is barely lot. And the rest are flickering. Have had a much better experience with Govee.
