Very different from the cheap (£6.95) one I bought a couple days previously, that jammed the same day. This one (£11.95) is sturdy, accurate, and fairly pleasant to use. A good buy.

I deducted one star simply because it doesn't really show you how small the cutter actually is. I have placed my hand beside the "tag cutter" to indicate the actual size you will receive. It works extremely well but for the size it cuts there isn't really much you could use this "tag " for. Really make sure you check measurements first!!!

I needed to make 352 cardboard wheels for a design project. It was cheaper to buy this punch than to buy pre-cut circles, and despite my reservations that it wouldn't punch very well, it exceeded my expectations and punched perfectly every time.The locking mechanism is useful for storage – it keeps the lever depressed, so less storage height is needed.Size-wise, its about the size of a gaming mouse, so if comfortable to hold. Not much pressure is required for the punch to work, the cutting action is smooth, and the accuracy of the circles is excellent.

The punch is fine and cuts circles well. However it is not 3.5cm as it says in the description. It is 1.5" and therefore about 3.7cm. That little difference won't matter in a lot of circumstances, but I'm trying to cut circles to fit a 3.5cm template so it's no good

I purchased the 3.75cm and 2.5cm hexagon punchers for english paper piecing/quilting. It transpired the 3.75cm puncher is the equivalent of a 3/4 inch hexagon, and the 2.5cm puncher is the equivalent of a 1/2 inch hexagon - taking the measurement on the side of a hexagon. The adverts give the shape measurement 'across' the hexagon whereas in quilting we take the 'side' measurement. The cut shapes are exactly the size you would purchase from a quilting/EPP supplier. They are excellent in sturdiness and give a crisp clean cut - I use 200gsm paper and you can cut the depth of 3 pages at any one time. I'm very picky about my 'stuff' but this certainly ticks ALL the boxes and are quality items. I hope this helps future purchasers.

Lo quería para perforar cartón de 625g y 3mm de grosor, con papel de 120g y plastificado. Lo hace sin problema, hay que aplicar más fuerza, obviamente, pero el corte es limpio. Me ha sorprendido muy positivamente.

I didn’t realise how small the cut out would be, was hoping to make my own labels from card stock and that won’t work. Waste of money for me as I don’t make my own paper art works.
