MUZA FD-800 Modulation Tone Box

Nice solidly built effects pedal with loads of effects. Doesn't save presets though unless you have a battery installed or keep the wall wart plugged in. For the price it's well worth the money. No complaints about noise either.

I likes it. It did come with power supply that was DOA, but supposedly the seller is sending me a new one. It works with a normal BOSS type power supply. I tried to run it on a 9V battery but it drained one in less than an hour. Anyway this pedal is well constructed & the tones are pretty good. The Flanger, phaser, pitch shifter & tremolo are all pretty good sounding. I think idividual pedals do sound better, I usually use my stand alone digitech flanger for flanger sounds & I'm sure a stand alone phaser would sound better than this one, but for the price this box sounds pretty good. It is quiet witth no added noise & only a little volume drop when engaged. I was pretty disappointed in the ring modulators, they sound really fizzy & are hard to get any use out of but thats probably just ring modulators in general. Anyway I am still stumbling across interested new sounds with this thing & would recommend it as a fun & useful pedal.

I bought this pedal simply to modulate the delay of my DD-7. The FD-800 does everything I need it to do and then some. A solid product for the price. Buyers should know however that the four preset slots will not store after the unit is powered down. For my use, that's not a problem, but other potential buyers should know this.

Great variety of sound effects. It doesn’t hold presets. You have to set them again each time you power up. Bummer.

So I've had this a while now, and it has proved to reliably replace the numerous tone-mod effects I scarcely used. Like the other MUZA effects, I like the stomp-button's easy-click feel, and that the adapter is included [not really necessary if you already have a power-chain but still very handy].The key to appreciating this pedal is loading up your four favorite settings in the presets; this essentially makes it a four-setting effects pedal with backup possibility of being everything else as well. For example: I generally favor one particular setting for tremolo, phaser, chorus, or flange, and I almost never combine them, so the presets cover my most common use of each = one pedal instead of four = smaller pedal board.some pedals need to be dedicated -- I wouldn't use a generic wah or overdrive -- but tone colors like phase and chorus aren't really so individual. Having four of them in one box at a reasonable price is a clear win. Makes a good pairing with the MUZA Ambience pedal [both being stereo, you can short-plug one into the other, and preserve the full stereo output of both].Note: The MUZA box is slightly larger than Boss' pedals, so the plug height is slightly higher

I love this pedal. After running through everything, I pre-programmed my favorite 4 into the presets: a chorus, flanger, tremlo, and envelope wah. It does it all, but these are the ones I find most useful... and for the price of one pedal. Solid construction and every one of these sound BIG and AMAZING...

Well, I bought this pedal on a whim... I didn't know how it would sound on the bass. All of the videos on YouTube were terrible, but I got it anyway. For its price it sounds awesome! My only complaint is the ring modulator and how it can't be fine tuned. But nonetheless, I'm happy with it!

I have never heard a pedal that can do the things this one does. everything from your typical chorus to tremolo all the way to the craziest step phaser to pitch shifter. Very versatile and so worth what i paid for it.
