Pros:–Good sale price for CAT8–Either not shown or hard to see in product pics, but cables are stamped “Kasimo CAT8 2000Mhz S/FTP PIMF Patch Cable PVC” CAT8 is also moulded into the plastic release clip near the gold connector base–The RJ45 gold connector clip is identical to other cables but these have longer shafts for better protection where the cable joins the connector (see pics)–Thick cable yet flexibleOther thoughts:–Most of us will benefit most from CAT7 cables, not many have hardware requiring CAT8 standards. Have converted most RJ45 cables to CAT7, thought I’d try CAT8 due to its higher standards and specs but don’t expect to see transfer speed improvements, so this purchase is to future proof my equipment. It’s possible and likely people upgrading from very old version 5e will see data transfer speed increases.

I needed to upgrade my old CAT 6 cables due to equipment relocation. I didn't want to use the same CAT 6 cables running over a certain distance as to not degrade the quality of signal.After some research online from tech forums, I learned about the release of new CAT 8 cables. This Cable in particular was a definite recommend for the quality and reliability over the 30-foot length I needed.After setting up and running the cable, I went on my computer to run some tests. The average ping latency dropped from an average of 32, down to an average of 13. My average download speed now exceeds 1 gig vs 975mbps from the CAT 6. Your results may vary depending upon equipment and internet speed, but I absolutely love the new cable upgrade and it works extremely well for me.Overall, I would highly recommend this cable, or at least upgrading existing lines to the newer CAT 8. I'm very happy with my purchase and will soon be upgrading all of my ethernet cables to this particular brand.

If you don't understand what these advanced cables do or how they work, GIVE THEM A TRY anyway! You'll be stunned by the results. Faster I no longer have any lag on my internet, the Xbox doesn't glitch and everything just works faster and better than the CAT5e we had installed throughout the house. Highly recommend!!

I bought this Kasimo cat 8 ethernet cable for my desktop computer. I do have a relatively fast Internet package so to get the speeds that I am paying for, I need the cable that will not choke my speed. The rest house has recently been upgraded to cat 7cables. The eight is even faster and is compatible. Why choose slow when you can choose fast? Nicely made cable.

I got Cat8 to ensure the best connection between my router/switch/surge protectors and ensure they are fully shielded so they wouldn't mess with each other. This did exactly what I was trying to avoid.I got some 2ft cables from another brand that were a few inches too short, so I got these 3-foot cables so there is no stress on the connections. After installing on Friday, that night and all day Saturday my internet would slow down to about 1mbs or totally cut out every 15 mins or so. Very frustrating! Google homes kept disconnecting and couldn't talk to each other or would give answers 30 seconds after I asked. It went on all day like this until I figured out what it was. I swapped out the cable, and VOILA! The internet was back to smooth running with no dips, googles homes would obey commands in 1 second instead of 30. It's crazy how weird things can get with a cable that transmits data but is faulty.

I used for connecting my Cable Modem to a Netgear Orbi AC2200 Router and have to admit that the connection is relatively fastest (even on WiFi connection) than Cat7.

Despite my modem being capable of 1200Mbps and the router being rated up to 1900MBps, I was only getting 158Megs at the computer. Obviously, I was not a happy camper since I was paying for 300Mbps service from Xfinity. I ordered this cable to see if it would improve the speed of the signal. First thing you'll notice is the obvious quality and the flexibility despite being a thick cable. The terminals clicked in nice and with a tight feel to them. Ran a speed test and, voila!, 359Mbps. Problem solved. Now I'm a happy camper again!

Stretches from one end of my house to the other, and the internet works perfectly! I would recommend buying an adapter for your router so you have multiple Ethernet slots. But yeah, this has lasted for months already, makes my internet connection strong enough for live streaming on my YouTube channel, and is super durable—it goes underneath some doors to reach my room, and it’s in perfect condition still

El cable tiene un aspecto de uso rudo, se ve muy firme y en cuanto a la señal, es un cable que transmite la señal muy rápido, (este es Cat8 y el cable que sustituyó es Cat5), y sobre todo, es estable, no presenta parpadeos en la señal, que para mí es muy importante porque un parpadeo de señal de un par de segundos me saca de mis programas habituales y era todo un problema con el cable Cat5.Muy recomendable. Es caro definitivamente, pero hasta donde he visto, vale la pena la inversión.

Ahora que estamos usando más el internet y que es necesario ampliar la cobertura en la casa, usar un buen amplificador sólo será provechoso si usas este cable de Categoría 8, si usas un cable de menos calidad no sacarás provecho.

Primero, relación calidad-precio ¡excelente! El cable es delgado, suave y resistente. En comparación con otras marcas de la misma categoría 8 gana por el acabado de las terminales y su precio; después de estos dos, compré otro en color blanco de 7m estoy muy satisfecho con el producto y para otros cableados que me faltan esta marca ya es mi primera opción.

Es un cable excelente para largas distancias. Está bien hecho, es grueso y robusto, lo que permite confiar en que resistirá las eventualidades que ocurren normalmente.El grueso calibre de los conductores y la excelencia en la cubierta me dejan satisfecho y sin pero alguno. Lo volveré a comprar.

Me gusto que me ayudó a recibir más estable la comunicación entre mi modem, se estabilizó el Ping y la velocidad de descarga llega al máximo de lo que tengo contratado. lamentablemente mi compañía de internet no es la mejor.
