Nice but smelly
Nice chess set. Triple-weighted pieces, carry case, extra queens. Only one issue, and it is a big one for our family: The vinyl board absolutely reeks! A headache-spawning soapy-vinyl smell. Now starting on day 2 of hanging it outside—one day not enough. Hoping smell is entirely gone soon.

No complaints! Satisfying triple-weighted pieces.
Saw a review complaining about the smell of the board, so I figured I'd cancel it out. I have not had any smell problems with the board, and I'm very happy with the set! It's my first chess set and it's been serving me well for a few months. :)Note: I didn't buy it through Amazon, so it's possible I got a slightly different set. But it is First Chess/Play All Day Games and everything matches -- vinyl board, brown tote, double queen, triple-weighted, 3.75" king.
