Durham's Water Putty - 1# Can - Case of 12

This order was for 14 pounds (14 cans). I was sent 1 can. Who would pay 15 bucks for 1 can when the retail is 3 bucks a can? Ridiculous

This product works well on wood. I found the title and quality to be deceptive. Title should read 12 1 ounce cans. Not one 168 pounds of Water Putty.

I needed a filler to fill the voids below my toilet. The installation is an odd one, with a rear discharge type toilet, sitting on a laminate floor. To get the toilet absolutely level spacers were needed at the rear. This made the toilet wobble, especially when sitting! I needed something that would look good and dry very hard. Durham's fit the bill perfectly. Very easy to work with, with plenty of time to work before setting up. Time will tell whether it will hold up or eventually crack, but the hardened substance in my mixing bowl appears to be very rugged. Almost like a finishing concrete mixed with epoxy. I can forsee many uses for Durham's around the house.

This makes a putty that absolutely does not shrink. So, when you are really interested in a smooth, even patch or fill this is the product to use. It dries fast and let's you get on with your project without having to make a second application or worry about whether the spot will show in a day, week or year. IT WON'T!
