Arrived broken. Still Broken 8 Months Later. Wasting Lots of Space and Time.
This desk blows. It has now been 8 months, to update, and it still does not work. A technician comes out every 1.5 months to put in a part, the part doesn't fix the issue, a new part gets ordered, an then a technician comes back out. In the mean time, the product has been taking up space in my living room, completely unusable- for 8 months. I don't know what to do about this, but I am VERY disappointed in their terrible quality control and poor service. At this point, I don't think that they will get it working before the 1 year warranty is up, and at that point, I don't think that they will continue to try to get it working. I honestly think they are just waiting out the warranty. What is broken/unacceptable:First of all, the desk won't even go up or down. The right side of the desk appears to be jammed. It arrived level, but wouldn't work at all, and after they sent a technician out to "repair it," the desk was made uneven (one side higher), and thereby unusable. Needless to say, that defeats the purpose of buying the desk. Second, there were scratches on the side of the desk, that are quit unsightly. Third, one of the rear plastic pieces was broken inside the box when I opened it up. Fourth, the tread looks like it was patched together on part of it and has a very thick area where it was patched. Fourth, I used to manage in manufacturing and have worked with many welders and the seems aren't welded good. It'll work, but the welds are pretty ugly. Not only that, but I noticed that plastic end pieces don't quite fit properly, as if they used ones from a different product/model.What is good:Nothing. The dang thing has been taken apart on my floor and totally unusable. Part of it, the tabletop was off, parts removed, very unsightly. It has been 8 months and it still isn't working. It arrived broken and is broken. I have been offered no extended warranty, and the warranty is almost up, yet they still haven't fixed it, or the situation. I regret purchasing this period.I recognize that it was a crappy product, so it isn't their fault. However, I have learned that for small items, Amazon is great, but for larger items, they lack the support needed if items arrive broken, as is this case. I will keep updating as I receive more news.

I own one of these and if you are 6ft and taller it will not work I often find myself crouching while using it. I bought a few monitor stands to hold them up higher and have to raise my keyboard because the desk doesn't raise high enough.

Overall happy
I bought this product direct from manufacturer several years ago. My primary motivation was to do slow obese lady walking (1.5-3 mph) with a FLAT SURFACE in front of me. My goal was to avoid the ugly, tall, vertical display with wasted $ put into fans, speakers, and display screens (all of which I provide for myself, better). For that purpose, it’s AWESOME!This replaced a more traditional model from a decade earlier which I frequently hefted up & down to upright position. For my usage, this product has 2 important cons: Putting desk upright is such a laborious, multi step, precarious process that I did it once but never again. Also, I hadn’t realized how useful side rails are until all 250# of me fell on my hardwood floor while spending too long looking to the side. (I don’t run straight; I walk looking out this window, that other window, and a screen, all in different places). So now I tend to locate the screen DIRECTLY in front of the treadmill and hold the desk edge with at least 1 hand when looking to the side out a window (and sometimes when walking straight, too).If I had my ‘druthers, they’d’a replaced the dysfunctional “fold” feature with side rails.I do really enjoy the flat surface, incline (it’s easier fir me to go steep than fast), and huge flat surface for beverage, remote, freeweights, and occasional curious cat.

Don't buy
While walking the treadmill is okay. But when you lower the desk to it's lowest position, it's 40 inches off the ground. That's 10 inches higher than a normal desk position. The website says "you can easily adjust the desktop height for a comfortable sitting position". Only true for a giant.
