I've been getting great daily use out of this shower curtain since buying it over a year ago. As the photo shows, it is not opaque like the company claims. That doesn't bother me since I don't have a light above my shower, so if showering at night I need some light to come through the curtain from elsewhere in the bathroom. I've been able to use this as as a standalone curtain (no additional liner) without problems.PROS:- Easy to launder. I hang it back in the shower to dry after washing, which I do whenever it starts to smell. I have not experienced noticeable problems with wrinkling.- Does not billow into your body as you shower. I would repurchase for this reason alone!- Does not seem to accumulate/show mold like plastic liners do.- Waterproof. Even with multiple people taking back-to-back showers and pretty much soaking it, it keeps water in. If you hold your hand up to the outside of it you can feel a bit of mist coming through, but I've never had problems with a wet bathroom floor.- Grommets have not rusted after 18 months of use.CONS:-More transparent than advertised, but again not a problem for me personally.-Takes a long time to dry and looks kind of unsightly as it does, since the wet parts are darker.-The included white plastic hooks look kind of tacky but they slide fine, don't fall off, and haven't gotten dirty or rusted like metal ones inevitably do, so I've kept using them.

Beautiful curtain that performs well and is well-crafted. I love the textured appearance of the fabric. Excellent buy.I use this without a liner, and have had no problem with water passing through it even with a high pressure shower head.When I’d originally installed it, water would just bead up and run off— the fabric didn’t even get damp. I decided to put it in the washer, though, hoping to remove the wrinkles where it was folded for packaging (it has otherwise not needed laundering— no mildew or soap scum visible).The wrinkles remained, but the water resistance disappeared. Now after a long shower the curtain does retain water, though it doesn’t leak through and it dries reasonably quickly.The water resistance would probably have diminished just from use over time, but I wish I hadn’t expedited that by laundering it.I considered dropping one star for the stubborn wrinkles, but I imagine an iron would solve that minor issue.

No need for separate vinyl shower curtain liner and shower curtain. I replaced my 2 curtain setup with this as I got tired of hand washing the vinyl curtain due to stains and mildew. I bought this to act as both liner and curtain as other customers mentioned it's nearly water proof and it absolutely works. A few droplets may permeate the curtain but it works perfectly without any vinyl liner and can be machine washed. I even spot sprayed the bottom seam with some bleach cleanser that had some mildew buildup and rinsed after a few minutes and the mildew is gone with no bleaching of the color (beige curtain didn't lose any color with quick bleach spray, but darker colors may incur some color loss I'm guessing?). Highly recommend this, I'd buy again in a heartbeat. No more scrubbing a vinyl curtain and the lesser weight on the curtain rod is a plus too.

i ordered this because of price and look in photos - it is not thick at all which the photos led me to believe it was a lot thicker. it is also superrrr long. we mounted our shower curtain rod at normal height and all other curtains had at least a 3" space at bottom before touching floor. this one is so long it drags on the floor - we're going to just leave it because otherwise wed have to repair walls from mounting rod brackets higher. I just feel I could have bought this basic curtain elsewhere for less money - yes less than $17

Hangs nice. Can't see through. Warm in winter. NOT waterproof so a plastic liner is needed.

Great product. Been using for 2 months now and are holding up well - even after putting through a wash cycle. Will need some ironing to fully remove wrinkles or you can wait until the steam from showers eventually help the wrinkles fall out

These look fabulous and come with curtain holders. It is crisp and light and has a great length to it. Very happy with this purchase. I have not washed them yet, so not sure how they will hold up, but I have great confidence they will be fine.

It is just a nice shower curtain. Shapes out nice and does what it is supposed to do.
