This shampoo bar has a really lovely coconut-y smell without being overpowering. Like all shampoo bars it's a bit trickier to use than normal liquid shampoo, especially if you have long hair. I find the best way is to rub it over my head but then also to lather it up between my hands and to use that to get right underneath the hair, close to my scalp. This definitely seems to clean my hair well, unlike a lot of shampoo bars which have left me with a greasy residue afterwards.It's a great price as well and will last quite a while. The only downside for me is that my hair quickly becomes greasy again so I'm having to wash it more often than I would with other shampoos. My hair is on the oily side anyway so I think maybe this is best suited to dry hair.

Decided to give this a try after having used Gruum's coconut shampoo for about a year - will definitely be sticking to this stuff hereafter. Very much the equal in terms of quality but vastly better value for money. Smells good, lathers up well and rinses out easily. Comes in a big enough bar that you can cut off a piece for travelling with too which is nice.

The shampoo bar is okay and does clean the hair, although takes a bit more effort than usual. It does lather, but takes a while, especially for longer and thicker hair (I use just on my scalp though). During the second shampooing stage, it does lather much quicker (guess because the hair is already wet and moist). Unfortunately, I do look at my hair wash as a chore now, knowing it will take much longer time and effort. It also leaves my hair squeaky and not really moisturised. The smell is bare minimum and is just okay, would not agree that it's amazing and smells so much as people say. Overall, great alternative to plastic bottles and to the environment, although will be looking out for something different next time.
