I'll never use hanukkah candles again!
I purchased these on a whim, just to do something different this year, but ended up loving them! They were kind of hard to get in my hanukkah menorah, i could have gone down a size i think, but they stayed in well. And oh, my, how wonderful not to have messy wax dripped all over, and having to clean it every day for 8 days! it used about 21 oz of olive oil for all 8 nights (cups not all the way full). then i got the idea to put some essential oil in each cup with a dropper to scent the oil, and that worked great! So much easier and more efficient to just pour more oil in the cups each night. The oil burns quite awhile, definitely as long as the thin candles my standard menorah takes. I also liked the authenticity of burning oil the way it was done in the Temple. All in all, a big winner!

Better than both floaters and candles
I've used menorahs with candles and ones with floater wicks, and these are much better than both in terms of maintenance.Candles tend to leave a bunch of wax all over the branches (and clogging the holders), and then you need clean it out with an icepick. The floaters will often leaving residue at the bottom and can covers the sides of the cup with smoke (and it can sometimes be a pain stick the wicks into the new floatersWith these, you just throw out the old wick, put the new one in the slot, and fill the cup with oil. No smoky residue to clean up, and no icepick needed for the wax.

Precarious fire hazard
These were recommended for my large menorah. They do not fit at all. They balance on the metal holder. They lower part of these cups that drop in are not big enough not even rubber grippers help. The cups tip with the oil and its dangerous not to mention a mess.
