I have used the Digital Meat Thermometer for a couple of years. I have been smoking meat and fish for about 20 years now and have tried many different thermometers during that time. This is the best instant read I have tried. It's easy to read, there is no "on" or "off" switch (just extend or close the probe), the battery seems to last forever, it is fairly durable (I just leave it laying around while BBQ'ing, don't worry about being careful with it), there is nothing complicated about it (no dials to set, etc.). If this ever breaks down, I will definitely consider buying another.

This digital meat thermometer is very easy to read even in low light since it has a light function. The design is exactly what I was looking for in a digital thermometer, in has a built in can opener gap, and to my surprise, it is magnetized. Now it is stored behind the stainless steel door compartment of my grill, super easy and convenient storage. I can't misplaced this thermometer with this function. I don't know if it is a negative but the thermometer is very sensitive to measure the temperature, you have to learn how to properly insert the tip of the thermometer into the piece of meat you are checking the temperature for so that it reaches the center. If you place it just on top the measurement won't be the right one, if you go too deep, you are going to be measuring the temperature at the bottom of the stake where the flame is hitting the meat, this measurement will also be incorrect. You have to go in slowly until you get a sense the tip is at the center. Finally, the different cooked readings are right there printed on the thermometer so that you don't have to remember them all. You want to know what the temperature for medium rare is? It is printed right there next to the display. All in all, it is a cool gadget to have handy.

I bought this for my boyfriend to use for the turkey we did on the grill. It worked amazingly 👏. We just got it last week and used it on Thanksgiving. Seems to work as expected. Battery seems to be sufficient so far. Works quickly and hopefully accurately while used on the grill like expected.

After using a non-digital meat thermometer for years, I decided to switch to a digital version. With so many to choose from, this one caught my eye. Besides being a nice looking product, this meat thermometer is super easy to use and has only 3 buttons. The buttons are to change between Celsius and Fahrenheit, to turn the LED screen light on, and a hold button. It turns on when you open the probe, which is great because I am not worried about the battery dying from an accidental push of a button in a drawer. Another awesome feature is the temperature guide printed right on the thermometer. No longer will I need to look up correct temperatures on the internet as this guide is available for me right here. I have used this thermometer a few times now and it always gives an accurate reading. I highly recommend this product!

WOW!!! This is a great kitchen and BBQ Thermometer! For anyone looking for a Super-fast, easy to use, SUPER accurate, and easy to read display, LOOK NO FURTHER!!! I received the thermometer today and my family and I already used it twice! Once with fish and later that same evening for burgers on the grill! I was BEYOND impressed with the speed that it could read the temperature of the fish and hamburger! I also tested it side by side with a professional analog meat thermometer that we have used for years, and this digital thermometer was so accurate!I personally love using a meat thermometer to ensure that I have cooked raw meats to the necessary safe internal temperature before serving lunch/dinner to my family or guests. It takes the guess work and question out of the cooking.I will update down the road, but I plan to put this meat thermometer to good use over the next several months, and I will update my review for additional comments.

I've used this thermometer both for grilled meats and also when I made some candy this past weekend - it worked beautifully for both!It's built extremely well for the low price! It's accurate and easy to read - I love the backlight feature! You open the probe to turn it on, close it to turn it off - so cool!It can read in both F and C, depending on your preference. It even has a list of recommended internal temps for different meats and fish printed right on the device.This thermometer has so many great features, everyone will find something to love about it.So glad I got it!

My existing meat thermometer was old and dated (and just not reading correctly) so receiving this was like a dream! Easy to use, it worked right out of the box. I tested it on a few meats already and it's been extremely accurate. The light up screen is especially useful if grilling outside in the late evening. All required meat temps are clearly displayed on the front and it even has a bottle opener! If you're looking for an accurate digital thermometer, definitely try this one out!
