Cheap, but not in the areas that matter
I chose this machine because I wanted the bare minimum to get me a top quality double shot cappuccino with a machine under $100. This machine exactly fits my needs. It has absolutely no bells or whistles and is definitely a Chinese import that cuts corners, but the corners it cuts does not affect my cup of espresso. The dial is supposed to have three positions- brew, off, and foam. It’s cheaply made and has about 9 different positions that you have to carefully avoid to make sure the dial lines up with the off position. So why did I give this 5 stars? Because it legit has 20 bar pressure, and after spending less than $100, I am pulling professional quality espresso shots and perfect milk foam. Honestly? It’s exactly what I was looking for. And as for the noise complaint? If you have cheap laminate countertops like me, it’s not that noisy. For once, I’m happy to not have granite countertops.

It works flawlessly It makes good espresso
It's a good value for the money. It makes nice expresso. It's nice that you don't have to add the water It has a holding tank in the back and it lasts me probably 7 days making a glass a day. I do have two double walls espresso shot glasses I like the fact that it has a double stream that goes into two cups. My one gripe is where you add the espresso bean The little cup that you press it in has a little notch in it and if you don't line it up perfectly with the handle where it mounts into the machine it's going to be a pain in the butt to get out.So I make caramel macchiatos every morning. I use a cold brew coffee to add a little bit more volume. Then two shots of espresso. And caramelIt only takes me maybe 3-4 minutes to make. I really am pleased with this machine besides a little issue with the notch.I've tried other machines expensive and cheaper over the years there's positives to both. This one kind of just is right in all the right ways It's a 20 bar. The frother is really nice and it's easy to use. So basically when you turn it on it heats up the coffee You turn the dial to the left after the flashing red light goes solid. Once you turn to left the water will start pressing through the espresso. Once your espresso shot glasses are filled then when you want to use the frother you just turn the dial to the right and it automatically starts working. It doesn't really good job then simply turn the dial back to the center You can leave it on but I turn the switch off.Overall I'm very pleased I couldn't have asked for a better machine cost wise and final product fit and finish. And it works flawlessly.

Had to order 3 before giving up but each of the 3 had major but different issues…
The media could not be loaded. Extremely Disappointed for the following reasons.Machine #1: Ordered the machine, it made excellent espresso and creams and it worked well for a few days then would only work for one to two shots of espresso then would not work again until left off for several hours(red light wouldn’t go on nothing). Then Sometimes it would work other times it would not. Note: machine was advertised as new, before opening it, it was evident machine had been previously opened and resealed before shipping. There were several layers of clear tape and the inner several layers had already been cut and taped over. There were knife cuts into the manual that is placed above the inner cardboard that were there from someone opening it as I only pulled the tape (never used a knife).Machine #2: Ordered a “New” replacement machine it spewed steam out all around what was a defective seal between the coffee porta filter and the machine would not pull a shot simpler burned your hand with steam if near the machine. Note: there were fried water marks from prior use in the water Reservoir, the lower water overflow grate and around the seal. This machine also was advertised as new, before opening it was evident machine had been previously opened and resealed before shipping. There were several layers of clear tape the inner several layers had already been cut, there were knife cuts into the manual that is placed above the inner cardboard that were there from someone opening it as I only pulled the tape never used a knife.Machine number 3 (bound and determined to get a working machine): Ordered another “New” replacement the pump was broken it would not pull water from the reservoir. Nothing worked including steam wand. Note: this 3rd machine also was advertised as new, before opening it was evident machine had been previously opened and resealed before shipping. There were several layers of clear tape the inner several layers had already been cut, there were knife cuts into the manual that is placed above the inner cardboard that were there from someone opening it as I only pulled the tape never used a knife. My experience with buying 3 consecutive machines during October and November, each advertised and sold as “New” with a small sticker which said “New” on the outside of the box. All were clearly defective and repackaged leading me to believe that the manufacturer or Amazon is packing used, not always refurbished machines and selling them as new. This is possibly due to supply chain issues and inability to get truly new machines to meet sales.I am familiar with machines having worked many roles for the worlds largest coffee company and other coffee companies over 25 years. I’m all fairness This machine, when you have one that works, yields incredible espresso when you have your bean grind dialed in. Our friend who recommended this machine to us received a new machine a year ago and it’s pulled hundreds of shots with zero issues 🤷🏻♂️

Working pretty good.
The machine arrived without tamper and filter. I used a filter from a different machine, but the coffee wouldn't pass trough. It does not have enough power. I tried the frothing and that didn't work either. Also, the instructions are not good. Very disappointing experience. I sent it back.06/26/20 UpdateSo, I need to update my review and upgrade from 1 Star to 3.5 maybe 4 stars. The seller contact me and sent me a new one. This one works very good. I was able to pull "crema" even from a home grind coffee, which my Gaggia cannot do.I am still confused about the pump. Is it 15 Bar or 20? The box says 20 Bar, their description says 15 Bar and the poorly written instruction manual don't lists any specs. Also, the portafilter seems light and cheap (aluminum, tin (?)), and I'm pretty sure it won't last. I am using a Stainless Steel 51 mm bottomless portafilter that fits and works perfectly. If the machine lasts, the portafilter will last forever.Unfortunately there's no nonpresurized filter included. I purchased one from Walmart that works perfectly. The Tamper included is not usable, so I recomend purchasing a 51mm tamper made of SS or aluminum.

Three years of regular use and it works perfectly. Bars for the $ this was a great purchase.

works well, if you get the flashing lights it just needs a cleaning cycle
I thought it was malfunctioning when one day it stopped working properly and the lights were flashing, but on further reading I found out this is just the indicator for it needing a cleaning/descaler. Follow the instructions to run the descaler or turn off the flashing by quickly turning the knob to the left, then center then right to steam then center again quickly, it should go back to normal then.the pump is very strong and the heater is fast, it let off a plastic burning smell for a few days but that went away and I'm not sure what that was about because it didn't do that at firstedit: January 2023 now, the coffee maker is now leaking from somewhere, I had to put it in a catch tray because every day it leaks about a half a cup of water onto the counter

The espresso maker is not as good as I expected
I have a similar espresso maker Saeco that does excellent espresso, this one for having 20 bars of pressure I was let to believe that will be better or at least the same, that is not the case, it looks like it doesn't have enough power. That's why it doesn't meet my expectations
