Alexander Del Rossa Womens Priscilla Cotton Nightgown, Sleeveless Victorian Sleepwear

Out package material stiff and rough. I washed before wearing. I machine washed on cold - delicate cycle. When I took it out of the washer there was a bunch of loose threads and it looked like like heck... I tried it on and it was rough and tight across the chest and uncomfortable. So I wet a bounce sheet and tossed it in the dryer on low hoping it would soften up... It didn't and it really was falling apart. I was hoping to save $10- $15 by buying an Eileen West "look-alike"... Well, you get what you pay for :-(

This is the second time I've bought this nightgown and its STILL TOO BIG. Ugh. I don't like to spend $30 on stuff like this so I guess I won't be trying a third time. It's really pretty and feels nice and was just what I'd been looking for but I've exhausted my budget for now. Just make sure you get at least ONE TO TWO SIZES smaller than what you usually get and you'll be fine.

This lovely nightgown was the worst investment of my life! I paid almost $40.00 for a gown that puffs out like a balloon and the straps are always falling down. It is not too big is is poorly made and I wish I had returned it. I just wanted a super soft night gown that I could hang out in not have it hang off me. I am so sorry to have spent this kind of money on something that I had to give away and no doubt they gave it away as well.

I bought a 2X in two different nightgowns from the same maker. One is a bit oversized but comfortably roomy, which is what I wanted. This one is ridiculously large - like about a 4X at a guess - but I missed the return window so maybe I'll turn it into several pillowcases. There's enough material for sure.

This looks pretty before the first wash. After a wash, the slender straps are all wrinkled and twisted. You must iron them in order to attempt straightening them back out. I am used to buying Eileen West sleep wear which are a bit more pricier than these and should have stuck to them as they are so much better quality than these. These run really large too. I will not bother to wear these as they look cheap as well. Spend a little more and get Eileen west. Those are real quality.

I loved the design of the nightgown and it said it was 100% cotton. But no matter how I washed it -- I had an allergic reaction to the material when I would try in on. I was really disappointed because I liked the design of the nightgown so much and I like 100% cotton so much. I guess I was just allergic to the particular kind of cotton they used in making the nightgown.

Was way too big and felt like I was wearing a potato sack. I have to go up a size even though I am only 5 feet tall I have large breasts and bigger size bottom. This was not flattering at all. I would have had to sewn it myself to get it to fit right. Sending it back.

I want to love this; the fabric is very light and soft. However it's a giant balloon with constricting straps. It's so big I could hide elephants underneath. The straps are flimsy "lace" and will probably break. I hope they break so I can bring them to my tailor for proper replacements and tailoring. The button placket has nice detailing and besides the straps it's comfortable to sleep in.
