Brave Heart

excellent music

It's funny that the other reviews here mention how great it is to drive to this music. There are sections of the northern country of Arizona that I think I'll always associate with Kim Hill's BRAVE HEART. I had the cassette in the early 90's and constantly played it while cruising the southwest.As cassettes go the way of the 8-track, I wanted to replace my copy with a CD--and found out that BRAVE HEART was out of print! Fortunately, I was able to special order it through amazon and it arrived today.I've played it several times now and I still love this album. I believe this is Kim's best (to date) and I hope it finds new life in a reissue someday.Music to soar by--then, now and always.

First, don't be scared away by the fact that it's Kim Hill. Before she turned to some boring combination of country and adult contemporary, she made one hell of a rock and roll album. The song writing is awesmome (Round and Round may be as good a straight up rock song as Thumper music has ever produced) and she just wails on the vocals. Oh and who does she get to back her up? Only the rhythym section of White Heart at the heighth of their abilities. Doesn't sound like any of the White Heart albums, but the playing is freakishly good. It's a crime that someone hasn't made this available on mp3 yet.

IMO, one of the most original Christian albums of all time. Despite its age, Brave Heart continues to offer catchy tunes, relevant spiritual topics, excellent musicianship and composition, not to mention a very talented singer in Kim Hill. This is truly a classic. Highly recommend.

Great Artist, Great Lyrics, Great Album. This is an older CD made by this artist, but the songs are still relevant and they sound like its been made today.Also a predominantly christian album. I love it and i am so glad i was able to get the CD as i only had the cassette.

Excellant album. I heard it years ago and lost my copy. So glad I was able to find it again, it is a treasure to me. Lyrics are brilliant and the music engaging. Honest work. Thanks Kim!!!
