Not real.. just can’t be
Just not real. I’ve had plenty of this brand and make of jeans before that I purchased from Macy’s or other comparable stores and these are not consistent- the material was thinner, the pockets and the lining were not the same and the color of the stitching wasn’t the same either.. didn’t fit the same. I even pulled out another pair I owned to compare and it was too obvious. I returned them because they weren’t flattering. I should have known the price was too good. One thing I will say is if you don’t have in mind getting dl1961 jeans you might be happy with them if your calves and ankles are wider because other than the matierial being thinner that is a main difference fit-wise.

Favorite jeans
These have turned into my favorite pair of jeans - so much that I bought in 2 other colors. They're very form fitting and "give" without getting too baggy. I did go down 1 size with the next 2 pair of jeans because of the stretchy material. Freaking LOVE these jeans/brand!

Love!
Love these jeans. I want to buy them in every wash. So flattering on me. I’m relatively short so it’s hard to find high waisted jeans that fit me nicely

Wrong product
This pant was listed as Florence but it was Margaux, which fit differently.

Curves on my every curve
These DL1961 Margaux Instasculpt skinny jeans were a bit of a surprise. I completely didn’t expect how heavy they feel. So many of the jeans I have now are made of lightweight denim, but these feel pretty substantial when compared to the others. At first, I didn’t think I’d like that heaviness/thickness of the material, but after I put them on, I was very happy.Looking at them and feeling them, I don’t know that these can be called jeans. They have that stretchy feel—I don’t think they are denim really but some other material. They could be worn, while not as dress slacks, to something where you need to be pulled together. With a white shirt, they’d look great. However, I’m going to wear these as jeans with boots or booties or with flats. These jeans hug my body, from waist to ankle. I’m 5’2” about 117 and have a 25, which I guess is around a size 4. When I came out of the room after trying them on, my boyfriend said, ‘ Wow! ‘ They curve on my every curve but move around with me pretty comfortably. The only part I’m not quite sure about, and I’ll know more as I wear them, is that the waist is at that odd place on me—not really high and not really low. But often I find with jeans now that aren’t low-rise is that as I wear them I find that fit. Better than the jeans that bow out at the back of the waist like jeans always used to. But I am not sure these could be called mid-rise. I don’t know that I’m a fan of the new mid-rise jeans that fall in a weird place but I also like my jeans below my belly button. Time will tell as I wear them. The black is a really dark black, and I hope they don’t fade as they are advertised not to. But, I will wash them on cold and delicate and I may hang them to dry from time to time. These jeans are super simple. There’s no embellishments. There’s plain pockets in the front and plain pockets in the back; although there is a DL inscribed on one of the back pockets and that is not very visible. The bottom hem comes to just over my ankle bone but they don’t start folding up down there—it’s a slim sleek line from waist to ankle. I’m happy about that, since sometimes jeans will pool a bit at the ankle since I’m only 5’2” (my legs are relatively longer than my torso so that helps, if you don’t have really short legs).I’ve been burned with expensive jeans before—these are $178 at time of this review (and that’s what it reads on the tag)—but, I’m happy with these DL1961. It’s my first time to try this brand.Due to the heavy material, I am not sure about wearing these when it’s really hot but since I live in the mountains I have more cool/cold weather than really hot weather.I’m happy I ordered them, so far. If I find any problems once I wear them for any length of time, or with laundering them, I’ll be back to reflect that in this review.

Super soft
These are super soft, but had to return them because they were too short with the ankle length to look good with anything I would use for winter. They also seemed to fall down a bit more than a pair of the Florence I purchased as well (I preferred the Florence fit & weight of denim).

Soft and comfortable
Got this on a sale price for size 25. Fabric is soft and comfortable. Ankle length meant for a tall person.
