I own several kites, this is my favorite!
You do need a fair breeze to get this parafoil launched, but once it's up, it flies with minimal intervention. In stronger winds, it'll really pull and give your arms a workout, so buy some quality line, too. Large, colorful, and impressive in the sky. Reasonably priced. Comes with a nylon bag for storage. My only complaint is that the tail tends to fray. This parafoil has LOTS of lines. This advice is crucially important, so heed it: KEEP YOUR LINES SORTED.To that end, I strongly recommend using a Cuban hand-reel (e.g. this one https://www.amazon.com/Challenge-50282-Yo-Yo-Assorted-Colors/dp/B003THIJHW/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=cuban+reel&qid=1596467875&sr=8-1). Leave this reel attached to the kite's multiple lines, and wind them around the reel when you're done flying. Store the reel in the nylon bag with the kite.Fly safe.

Pretty awesome kite but the spool worries me.
The media could not be loaded. This is my first experience with a parafoil kite and this thing is freaking amazing! It is pretty huge and I love the little carrying bag it comes with. I spent some time today testing it out before this year's upcoming kite festival. The wind gusts today were aggressive at 13-20 miles per hour which made the kite go up pretty fast. At times the kite seemed pretty hard to handle for a novice like me, and I burned my fingers on the string a couple times. The kite spool is what really concerns me. It's one of those ones that you stick your hand in and has little plastic pieces on either end with a slit that's supposed to hold the string, I don't know if maybe the high wind was a factor, but it did not hold the kite string at all. I bought this with the intention of flying it with my 3 year old nephew and I'm not sure that I would feel comfortable letting him hold the spool on his own.I'm intending on probably changing out the spool for a different style so I feel better about my nephew handling it, other than that this kite is really cool.

Three Stars
Not a good kite for children under 12. Huge, heavy and lots of lines to tangle.

it is easy to keep aloof
I have flown in 25 to 30 mile an hour wind, and it was very difficult to hang onto. The wind was very gusty and keep switching around. The kite would dip sharply to the side, and with almost 1000 feet of string out, came to the ground. With the wind switching around, I think the lines get wrapped around parts of the kite, taking air away from the kite. In straight line winds, it is easy to keep aloof. It was easy to get air born, and really looks neat in the sky.

Flys Great!
What a nice kite. I am a novice kite flyer who bought this kite for my daughter and I. I've never had a kite launch so easily, it took off on our first attempt in a steady 5-10mph wind. I didn't even have to run with it to get it skyward. Build quality is nice for the price. It doesn't come with a lot of string so I recommend upgrading to a round spoil style. I wish the storage bag was longer, I cant seem to get the entire kite in the bag. I'm happy with my purchase.

kite did not fly very well at all
Hate to provide 2 stars, but kite did not fly very well at all. Launched it in 10-15 mph wind, and it launched fine only to veer off to one side and crash - this happened 4 times even after tweaking the kite. Just threw it away.Build quality looked really nice FWIW, maybe something was wrong with my kite. not sure.I'm an experienced kiter, with years of experience with power kites and some kite surfing.

Terrific kite.
Kite was a little bigger than expected or a 5.5 year old but once up in the air, it flew great. The canopy never failed or crashed back to the ground. String included was heavy duty. First flight was in about 8 mph. My only suggestion I'd recommend due to the kite's size is to change the string holder to include a "center cleat" to tie the kite off with. Otherwise, it flew great and looked awesome.

Big, Bold, Beautiful
This kite looks great. Not only that, but it flies great as well. A wind speed above about 7 mph seems to keep the kite full and aloft . I'm not sure what the max speed would be, but I know at about 15 mph my 6 year old struggles to hold on. Great kite. Highly recommended.
