Excellent Work ! Dr. Charles Stanley is a wonderful bible teacher! I love all his teachings and this is no exception ! He is very encouraging and always backs up his teachings with the Word of God. He always communicates clearly and illustrates his points with his experiences. Dr. Stanley reminds us that we need conviction, even on information that we already have learned, such as who our Father is, what is true prayer, and even convictions on that afterlife, that we are going to heaven when we die which he teaches beautifully in chapter 10. He teaches us to stand strong, despite the trials and tribulations of life and encourages us to live a life that will make an eternal impact! Highly recommended!

In reading this book, God spoke to me immensely through the wisdom of His Word and testimony of the life of Charles Stanley. Going through a hardship or trial, this book or most importantly God showed me what He was doing in my life. Through the pain and discouragement he was showing me to remain faithful and storm proofing my life on the solid rock to withstand the trials of life.

Since I purchased two of these at different times I'm not sure if they were from the same vendor or not so I pray I'm getting this right. One book came in a box and the corner was dented on book The other came in a plastic bag and was in perfect condition. Abd this led me to believe the first was damaged when placed in box. And usually in a book store that is considered damaged and marked down.I called and was told it could be replaced but that should have been unnecessary.

If you're looking for encouragement, a reason to press on, or the confidence that our Father God and our Lord Jesus are in your corner no matter what your circumstances, I highly recommend this book. Charles Stanley has gained amazing wisdom during his walk with the Lord, and he shares it here with us so we too can increase in our faith, strength, and understanding.

The topics are introduced in a helpful order. And, topics build on each other. The advice given in the book is sound and Bible based. Well written book that is easy to understand.The information is very helpful with dealing with the difficulties of life.

it seems I am always strengthened as I read pastor Stanley's books. now days very few pastors deal with reality of ever day Christians . This pastor speaks from the heart and helps one better cope with their spiritual walk.and I have found the encouragement needed. when I read this book it was like setting down at the lord table and receiving what I needed . pastor Stanley may be the writer but the spirit of the lord blessed the work.

Down to earth. Well worth reading. Comes from experience

This is another great book from my beloved teacher Pastor Stanley.They always help me in building up a greater and more intimate relationship with my heavenly Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
