MEGA Counselor (056) Secrets Study Guide: MEGA Test Review for the Missouri Educator Gateway Assessments

Helped me pass the first time! You get study material and a practice test. It seemed pretty similar to the actual test.

While not extremely in-depth, I was able to use this to figure out what I needed to focus on for the MEGA, and I passed it the first time. Would I have without this? Possibly, but it made me feel better prepared and less anxious about the assessment.

I would like to see a varity of test questions that go along with the actual test. The practice test do not correlate with the MEGA test.

I really enjoy this study guide. I provided an excellent refresher on theoretical approaches and also provides a brief snippet as to how a counselor is to use said skill. I also appreciate the practice test!

I like the layout of the book and how it's organized. I'm looking forward to diving into it.

My feedback is that this appears to be a pretty thorough manual in that it covers a nice breadth of topics but not much depth. Since I haven't yet taken the Mega, I don't know for sure if it will be helpful or not, but I am hopeful that it will be.
