To anyone that needs a new circulation pump seal for a LDS5040ST dishwasher, this is the exact part. You can't get it from LG, they don't even list it as a part. They would rather you buy the entire pump assembly for 200 dollars. So if your dishwasher is leaking water, this may very well be the culprit, The company OEM Mania carries this part.
