Wonderful kettle. I have wanted a temperature control version for a while, now that the quarantine has got me trying new teas lately. One might say I am quaran-tea-ning. Heh heh. I've been trying out new and unique teas from all over the world and some are extremely high maintence when it comes to brewing at the right temp. This helps me hit the right mark, easily. It is a super fast kettle. Boiling within miliseconds. A very sleek design with a pretty blue light when it's on doing it's thing. The use is self explanitory. I didn't need to read the pamphlet for that, but did for how to clean it. I suggest using vinegar as it says and letting it soak for an hour before use like I did. The wire is pretty short, so be aware. No issue for me.This is definitely worth the price for me. So much so, that I returned the one I bought on sale without the temp control feature.

I like hot tea in for dinner. My gas-stove tea kettle got too nasty, so it was tossed. Since then, I have been heating water in a glass measuring cup in the microwave. I was intending to purchase another stove-top kettle.I have had this kettle for a few weeks now and my family members and I use it several times daily.Once you fill it up with water, you press the 'Set' button to set a temperature (which starts on the lowest setting and goes up as you press 'Set' more times), then you can press the 'Keep Warm' button if you want it to keep the kettle warm for 30 minutes, then you press the 'Start/Stop' button to get the kettle going. If you press just the 'Start/Stop' button, it will default to heating the water up to 'Boil/Black', the hottest setting. The Strix temperature control of water kettle ensures an accurate operation, while the ‘Keep Warm’ maintains the desired temperature for 30 minutes Some people noted the kettle does not remember the temperature or the 'Keep Warm' setting - I find this is a very minor issue for me because I like to make one big drink at a time that will last a while. If you wanted to keep water warm after you pour your drink, you could just set it to your preferred water temperature, press 'Keep Warm', then start, and it would keep the temperature for 30 minutes for when you wanted another drink.

A good friend of mine from the United Kingdom bought this electric kettle for me as a housewarming gift, with the explanation that "a house isn't a home until you have an electric kettle to make a nice cup of tea." I've used a traditional kettle on a stove my entire life to heat water for sweet tea, tea, cooking, etc. and I thought an electric kettle wouldn't make any real difference.I was wrong.After owning an electric kettle for only a couple of weeks, I wouldn't go back.The best feature of this little electric kettle is that you can control the temperature on it. This feature alone is worth the price of admission. I've been brewing sweet tea my entire life, and I was shocked at the difference that brewing it at a precise temperature made. Suddenly, the taste was smoother and less harsh than when I used boiling water off the stove.This kettle also heats up a couple of minutes faster than a traditional kettle on the stove does, saving me time. Even better, it has a viewing port so that I can see how much water it has in it.As promised, this kettle also keeps water left in it at the same consistent temperature for thirty minutes.I tested this feature just to see if it works - and it does (I love playing with new tech to see how it works) - but I think it will be a lot more useful to people who drink multiple cups of traditional tea instead of for people like me who make big batches of sweet tea at the same time.Thus far, this kettle has proven easy to use and, maybe just as important, easy to clean.It's a surprisingly nice addition to my kitchen that I think will save me a lot of time and frustration over the coming years.

I bought this kettle to get better control of my gourmet coffee pour-overs. Using a kettle on a stove required too much time and was not always accurate. I had heard that this kettle was the one to buy. I can say that, after using it for several months, this is exactly what I wanted. I use the setting for 200 degrees and it heats to that level very quickly. I check the temperature and it is exactly 200 degrees every time! (Very important to us coffee snobs...) I also like the temperature hold feature. If I want to be able to have my water at 200 degrees immediately after dinner, I set it to a lower temperature setting before sitting down for dinner, then hit the 200 degree setting while preparing the beans and it's ready in just a minute or so.

I wanted to love this electric kettle. The first one arrived to us dirty, broken and clearly used. Returned hoping that was a fluke and the second one would work out. Sadly after only using this kettle ONE time it is already rusting. Very disappointed.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Im a tea and french press coffee drinker and this electric kettle gets my water heated up FAST and has different temp settings. It's good to use the right temp water depending on what type of tea youre using (or for french press coffee) I find it really helps me get the best taste out of my coffee! The1.7 liter size is plenty big and this is so easy to use! It takes the guesswork out of the correct temps for you since you just push the one you need depending on what youre making. It also has a setting just for boiling water and this is convenient when I make oatmeal or ramen. The stainless steel looks really nice and it is easy to clean.

I purchased this tea kettle on Nov 29th 2020 and it started leaking through the bottom on Feb 4, 2021. Return period ended Jan 31st.I do not recommend this product.

This is, without doubt, the best electric kettle I've ever owned. It offers great options for tea drinkers, regarding the amount of heat for different types of tea. I love the keep warm option. It looks streamlined and beautiful on my counter. Th only slight criticism is that it is difficult to fill from my refrigerator's filtered water spout, but other than that, it is great!

Worked well and looked great, up until last week when I came to find in the AM all the water had leaked out onto the counter and floor. Since this time this kettle is unusable because of the rate at which it leaks. This is disappointing because this kettle was a five-star until last week - and unfortunately, if a product only lasts five months it speaks to the quality of it. I am requesting a full refund of my money. Disappointed

I love the temperature choice. This is so much better for green or white teas. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I was disappointed that after checking the origin of the kettle was US, to find out that it was built in China.Amazon needs to provide both the country's origin as well as the manufacturing origin.
