A Blessing to Own when the Power Goes Out in South Florida
I had the opportunity to put this item to work recently due to a power outage non-related to any weather event but rather the electric company cutting power for 4 hours in the middle of the afternoon in order for a new community development to hookup to the grid. It was 94 degrees that day and even though the house remained semi cool, it did get the thermostat temp to reach 80 degrees. Way to hot for me sitting around and watching my battery backup 12" TV. So I followed the directions and had previously charged the unit to be sure it would be ready after receiving it and added both water and ice. Turned it on and within a matter of minutes the unit was blowing some real cool air onto me. I had placed the unit on a table close to me, maybe 4 feet away and no problem cooling me down. It ran quite a while and in fact it ran the remaining time the power was out. So it works people but be sure you understand that its only going to cool you down if you are within a reasonable reach from the unit. It does not cool a room but rather a very small bubble like space around a person. Worth every penny and the next Hurricane that decides to wipe out the grid for a day or two, I know now I will be able to sleep knowing it will be at least cool enough to do so. I have a 68,000 mAh batter backup charging station which allows for me to charge a wide range of items and electronics requiring a charge once the battery life is depleted. Hooking up this unit to recharge will not take long after it has run it battery cycle down to zero. Great Purchase and Highly Recommend it for staying cooler, not cold, when power is lost and the A/C does not work. I live in South Florida with Humidity and I would say the unit will function well even if the indoor temp reaches into the high 80's.

An Absolute waste of money
This product is a absolute waste of money. It arrived quickley, and was very simple to set up and get started. But as far as performance, i could easily cool myself more effectively with a square of cardboard. This product claims to be able to cool a persons personal space?? It couldnt cool the personal space of a flea. Dont waste your money.

Personal a/c on my office desk
Easy to use - put water in it and put some ice it the top port and turn it on. Just note, it doesn't have an actual plug to plug it in the wall. I has a USB connector, so I had to work with plugging it in since I don't have all of the technology devices . Works perfect since it is located close to my face and blows cool air on right on me :).

Very hit or miss
When it works, it works great! Keeps you cool, holds a charge through the night, excellent! But they also burn out very quickly. My first lasted over a year before it gave out. Second lasted 3 days before it burnt out. Third lasted 6 days. Looking good with my current replacement. TIP: always have water in it even if you’re not using the mist feature! It will prevent it from overheating while charging.

Very Efficient Personal Cooler
Bought two of these, arrived today, both worked right out of the box. I prepped by chilling water in the frig overnight. Overfilled the first one, thinking I would pour water until it slowed in accepting it. Wrong, leaked out, totally my fault. Poured 2 cups (16 oz) into the other one, perfect, that dose lasts about an hour, easy to tell when it needs a refill. Have been using the lowest "snowflake" setting for almost 4 hours, very pleased with output. The grille that shoots cold mist is 4.5 inches square, I can easily see 10-12 inches of mist before it disappears. Didn't know that it swivels, haven't used that setting but it's a nice feature. I don't have AC, just pedestal fans, and it was easily 80-85 degrees indoors this afternoon when I set these up. I'm sitting 18-20 inches away, the mist is aimed at my lower face, throat and upper chest and they are COLD to the touch. Cannot hear the low setting that I'm using, medium setting is a tad louder, high setting is quite audible but not obnoxious. Lots of water drops hang on the louvers but that's good because that's how it cools, they don't stray, the drip tray catches everything. Both coolers are sitting in large, deep dinner plates just in case but no drips or spills so far. Using these in different rooms and both of us are happy. I have COPD and breathing heated air is dangerous for me, will be using these 4-5 hours a day when the elevated interior temp becomes a problem. [OK, one of them just depleted its battery after 4 hours, one is still going.] Don't know yet how long it takes to charge but don't anticipate a problem, given how satisfactory the other features are. Didn't realize there is a lifetime warranty that you register online. Score!

Great table top AC but the water mist has stopped working.
I really liked this table top AC and had recommended it to many of my 1500 Facebook followers. However, the misting has stopped and I am am just over the return period. I hope that the manufacturer or Amazon can help with a replacement.

DO NO BUY
Bought 2 of these for the wife, July 23, have only opened and used 1, and it already has stopped misting water. In the instructions it says Register and also change fillers . Just where do you register or get the fillers ????? Have looked at the Question and there are no answers for these. And of course the items return date was Aug 23, so now no returning or refund. I am very upset for the simple reason than I bought 2 of these and that it ONLY lasted a little over a month and for the money these cost and I spent, you would expect it to last longer that. Very unsatisfied customer.
