The replacement remote worked well right out of the product wrapping with my portable air conditioner.This remote does not come with any type of manual or remote function documentation, so I used the reference information from the original remote to understand the function keys.This remote is actually a Danby remote and batteries are not provided.It takes four to five weeks for standard shipping, as it is shipped from China.The battery containment cover can slip off of the remote very easily.Hope this helps you!
