Miya Catch Cat Tongs, 7-Inch, Pink

These are so cute, but so tiny, I should have checked the size, because in the photo they look bigger. I will be keeping them, but not as substantial as I thought.

I purchased these for my cat loving adult daughter. I know the description stated they were 7in and I own several pairs of 7in tongs. Still, I was a bit shocked at how small they were, and I've realized why: Most tongs' grasper ends are much wider than its shaft. That it not the case with these. The puncher ends are basically the same width as the shaft. They seem decently made and sturdy enough, but they're not going to be as useful as traditional tongs simply because they can't grasp nearly as much. However, they are quite cute! I bought them in pink and because the markings/strips are only slightly darker than the rest, they don't appear at first to be cat-related. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend them in pink. However, I can recommend those with contrasting colors, ie orange/white.
