I have used all different lights and this is my favorite. The people at my station use pelican, nighthawk and stream light. This is just as sturdy, mounts similar and just as bright. I've had no problems with the function of the battery compartment, and the c123 lithium have lasted for a while before I had to change. The buttons are easy to feel with fire gloves on, a dimmable button would be nice to conserve power but not needed. My most favorite function is the floor light, it's TRUE that it isnt as bright as the main light but I'm only using it to navigate and not blind others like we most often do. I would have given this light more than a 5 out of 5 if I could.

This is a good light I've had it for almot three years before it finally went bad on me. I've taken in over 50 structure fires and now i can't get the bottom light to shut off without removing the batteries. I've already ordered a new one . I enjoy having a helmet mounted light versus the lights we get issued to wear on our chest.

Sturdy, works well with modern helmet so far due to the hinge points on the light. Having 2 light sources is great though, downward facing one is great !

Just as bright as streamlights. I love the bottom facing light. Large buttons for easy operation even with thick gloves on. Only downside I would say about this light is, I wish the angle could turn down a bit because the beam is cut out just a little bit by the rim of my helmet. Other than that. Cheaper than streamlights and comes with more features. Highly recommend

Works great on a fire helmet. Only thing i wish it had was a way to tilt up and down, but other than that its been used and abused and still works without an issue. The downward facing light is amazing and I use it on every night time call.

My husband has this light on his fire helmet & was using it during training & he had a crowd of other fire fighters wanting to know where he got it because the illumination, safety features to find and locate fire fighters and durability a must have to add to your gear !

Been using this for a couple months now and I'm in love with this light by far the most versatile helmet light I've had very good quality extremely bright when you need it to be and the auxiliary light is perfect for walking on scene and making you visible working roadside without blinding other firefighters or drivers.
