Scenic Walks in Killarney

This book is wonderful. It has 18 different walks that are easy to add or delete from.. it gives mileage in km, duration in hours, and difficulty level, including what kind of shoes are needed (waterproof boots, hiking shoes or just trainers). It also has a Start and Finish and special interest along the way. Nice color photographs and a colored topographical map. It is a very thorough walking guide.

Great book for help while in Killarney and places to see and go.

Essential reading -planning for walking group holiday in July

looks a really good book but arrived too late

A gem of a book. I found it to be very helpful for doing walks in Killarney National Park and vicinity during a recent trip to Ireland. The book was originally published in 2012 but is still accurate and relevant overall as of 2017. In addition to the written descriptions, the guide is well illustrated with general maps of the various walking trails and photographs of major landmarks, wildlife, flowers and trees.
