This show has intelligence of a certain kind.
Had the pleasure of meeting Brian Limond at a charity do once. He was surprisingly down to earth and VERY funny.

Great show, but came damaged
The DVD case was broken upon arrival. It's a shame because it's a great product. I wish they took better care of their orders.

The only way to consistently watch Limmy's Show.
"Limmy's Show" frequently appears and disappears from BBC iPlayer, which is a bit of a pain if you regularly re-watch it (like my partner does). At the time of writing this (02/01/2023) it is not currently available on any streaming service. This boxset contains the complete first series across 2 DVDs. It also contains versions of the episodes dubbed with audio commentary from the man himself, as well as the pilot episode.

Tartan special!!!
Having watched all six shows of this excellent T.V series, I was delighted when I discovered that the dvd would soon be available. Scottish born Brian 'Limmy' Limond lifts the lid on a whole new cultural comedy genre that has something that will appeal to everyone. My personal favourites are ned John Paul ( 'you're a toilet!' ),and Jacqueline the ex junkie ( " I'm clean! ").Throw some 'Ran-dom!' observations by the eponymous Limmy while he's out and about in and around Glasgow and you've got the general idea of the type of everyman humour that he's projecting. Think Peter Griffin off of Family Guy, when he talks about what really grinds his gears!! Top Banana!

Great show, but caveat emptor
It's a great show. Limmy is a comedian who can make a joke about the structure of comedy and humor itself, which I think is hilarious, but it's not for eveyone. My girlfriend was like "this is just stupid". We've broken up now, thank god.Unfortunately it's region locked and I'm in Australia & had it imported, & I can't watch it on my PS3 with my housemates. It's a big screw-you from the folks at Sony and the BBC, and they wonder what they can do to fight piracy!
