Broken Cure (The Broken Cure Series)

This was an interesting book when I got to 49%. Too many characters that seemed unrelated . The prologue promised an evil conspiracy.Dr. Winthrop noticed patients were dying and had pericardial effusion that shouldn't be there . As he started researching this phenomenon , he was told to forget it. He continued and pulled another doctor into his confidence . These doctors certainly had problems . They had no idea of the breadth of what was going on.

Couldn't put it down. I love how the subplots all tie together. Strong characters I could clearly see in my minds eye. I love how Alex and Olivia come together as a team...and eventual lovers. A great story of love, loss, and redemption. Just the right dose of realistic science and medicine. The story builds to an intense battle between the villains and a very unlikely collection of men that Alex assembles. Lots of great twists, and a surprise ending that left me satisfied with just a pinch of lingering mystery. I look forward to reading his new book, God Dust.

This book is great! Halfway through it! Many twists and turns and very captivating. I work where this doc did and he is fabulous! No tie ins with where he worked but looking forward to the second book which I have in the wings based on a coworkers enjoyment of both!

I found this book tedious at times. Parts were long and boring while other parts moved along with fast paced action. I am a big fan of medical thrillers but this one felt like an espionage book.

Having a medical background was helpful when reading this novel. The scary part was that I could see this happening.

This book was written well and had good action. The only thing I think could have been better is the ending. It was kind of abrupt.

This book has plenty of twists and turns. It was spellbinding. A real nail biter!Sad to think about the collateral damage of so many lives lost with our government’s experiments. They tell us only what they want us to know and nothing more!
