Lonely Planet Kids Build Your Own History Museum

Fantastic book for a young history enthusiast. I bought this for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas and although she wasn't overly excited christmas day, a couple of days after Christmas we decided to have a look at it. It's safe to say she was very impressed with the book and recognised some of the things in the book which she had learned about at school.

We have loved all the lonely planet books we have these build your own pop up books are great. My daughter loved it age 6

I got this for my eight year old. He needed a bit of help with some of the tabs, it's a little fiddly in places, and the instructions are clear, but you need to pay close attention to the details, which can be tricky for young children.He loved making it, though, and really enjoyed giving members of the family a 'tour' of his museum. A fantastic book and the next best thing to a trip around a museum!

Lovely idea for a book. The premise is that you work for a museum and a new crate of treasures has arrives. You have to assemble the treasures to put them on display. The result is a beautiful pop up book that the children have had a role in making. Nice bit of information about each time period on each page too.
