I really like this humidifier for its ability to increase humidity levels, but it has two major flaws that shouldn’t be overlooked.1: filling it is a pain in the butt. You fill a reservoir that must then be turned upside down! What nonsense!2: it’s wood design means you cannot see if it’s clean when you clean it. You can only assume that you’re doing a good enough job of removing deposits and that nothing horrible like mold is growing in the tank. Take some extra precautions if you’re going to purchase this for it’s looks. Humidifying the air with moldy water is not sexy!

I spent so long picking out a humidifier that would fit in with my decor. It's beautiful, especially with my plants - BUT IT LEAKS : ( It's leaking water from the main tank, no matter how high or low the water level.

This thing is pure magic! I got it and set it up immediately, even added a nice refreshing oil mixture on the carrier pad in the back, set it on the cooling option, and turned it on. Within 20 minutes I felt noticeably refreshed. This thing is so great I turned around and ordered 4 more! Two as presents and two more for my home. Seriously, I take it all around the house with me. I am absolutely in love with this humidifier. Well worth the extra money for the water tank capacity. Also, be sure and only use distilled water to help maintain the longevity of the unit and prevent hard water buildup.

Kept leaking water onto my wood furniture

I love it but the heat doesn’t seem to be any hotter than standard/cool... also I wish it held a full gallon of distilled water but it only holds 3/4-7/8 of a gallon

I put it to together like any normal humidifier and it won’t stop leaking. I’ve tried several different things to get it to stop but nothing has worked.

I bought this because I liked the option of having hot or cool mist and a diffuser. The hot mist button would illuminate, but the mist would not temperature. So that feature never worked, which is the only reasonable reason it is twice the price of regular humidifiers. After one week, this product indicated it needed to be cleaned. I cleaned it with vinegar and water on Q-tips then refilled the tank. Except that I accidentally filled the wrong hole in the tank, as there are two holes right next to each other and I was tired. I tried airing out the product with a fan, but it never worked again. I would expect a higher quality product for this price point. And I think having two holes next to each other is a design flaw. Needing to fill up at the sink and the product can't sit flat easily while doing so is also a design flaw. I do not recommend.

The product seemed to work fine but I only used it occasionally. Then I tried to use it again about 8 months after first use and it would not even come on. Replaced battery in remote and still nothing. I paid a lot for this product and to have it quit working after less than 10 hours of use is ridiculous. I tried contacting homedic through amazon, but they have not responded. I would not buy anything from homedic again as their quality is obviously quite poor and they did not respond to my request for repair/refund.
