kenable Scart Plug In/Out to Red White Yellow RCA 3 x Phono Plugs AV Cable 2m [2 metres]

I used this to connect an old SCART plug output DVD to a new TV that did not have a SCART input. The alternative solution was to buy a SCART to HDMI adaptor and charger which was significantly more expensive.Using the RCA connection, (making sure the switch on the plug is on "out") , the picture quality is fine and the sound clear. For me (and this may not apply to your equipment) the picture is letterboxed and a bit smaller than the full screen.For the price of this solution that's not an issue and I am happy with the purchase.

The Kenable red yellow white scart plug cable was exactly what I needed and has solved my very old dvd player problem.

I bought this item after watching a youtube video of how to connect your VHS video player to a smart TV which does not have a Scart socket but does have the red white and yellow sockets for the plugs on this lead. However It did not work as described in the Youtube video. I got round the problem another way - we have an older flat screen TV used as a PC monitor, this has a Scart socket and the old videos played through it fine (except for the poor visual quality but that was the video not the TV). So don't buy for this purpose.

I am unable to give any real comment about the scart plug, as I was still unable to get a picture from my portable TV, when I tried it. It wasn't an expensive item, so I just kept it as a spare, should I ever need such a connector in future.

Arrived on time, when I plug it in, did not work only because I did not look at the switch and it was on "out" not "in", once I changed it worked. the quality is very good
