some incorrect facts in games but otherwise amazing
there were some facts that were incorrect like you use riddikulus on boggarts but they use it on dementors for a quick helpful tip for quidditch you need 7 players on each team a keeper 2beaters 3 chasers and a seeker and so if you want to play house games then u would need at least 7 students in each house there would have to be 28 party guests just so u could play quidditch but when you do you'll have no regrets this is a great book and is great Will use in future

This has lots of fun interesting projects
This has lots of fun interesting projects, and I do not regret buying it. However, some things require materials I would have to go out of my way to buy. Some projects are too hard to make and require hard to find materials. If you don't mind going out of your way, this should be a good product for you.

Pintrest, here I come!
While this isn't a bad book, it isn't a very good book either! I would have preferred to give it two and a half stars instead of three, but it's better than two stars. There aren't very many recipes and several are basically the same, but with different sodas used so for me there are actually fewer recipes if you think they could have combined the recipes and suggested different options for different drinks. Besides, I haven't a clue where to find the edible glitter the author suggests for quite a few of the recipes. Some of the recipes sound on the ewww side for me, I love chocolate but the idea of putting some on licorice sounds pretty gross to me for example! As for the crafts, maybe younger children will find them fun to make, our teen son, who loves Harry Potter, didn't find them interesting at all. About the only craft any of us were vaguely interested in making was the monster book, which I had already thought of making myself after watching the movie it appears in.Personally, I would suggest looking for ideas on Pintrest prior to purchasing this book. It just isn't worth the price in my opinion! Maybe the Kindle version, but definitely not the cost of the print version. Now, if the author wants to go back and add a few more better recipes and maybe a couple better quality crafts, I might consider the price worth it, but not as the book is.

It may be unofficial but the recipes and explanations are fabulous. Each recipe includes reference to what book it was found in. I especially liked that she included the hard recipe but then gave you an easier recipe so you could make the foods with the kids. Great book!

Fun
I thought this book had some really fun ideas. The critics were a little unfair. I made the sorting hat and wouldn't have thought of it otherwise. It was tricky. Making paper look like the hat took some time. The monster book was great. Overall, it was for kids, but with some creativity, you can get alot of use out of it.

Very helpful book
Very helpful book! We had a lot of fun getting ideas from this book to create our party decorations, games, and snacks. We enjoyed the creative ideas. The polyjuice potion punch was a hit at our party, as well as some of the snacks. The kids also loved the werewolf attack game!

Really nice!
It has a lot of great ideas. It tells you the cost estimate of each project and gives you easy step-by-step instructions. The only down side is if you live in small town with no arts and crafts store, you are going to find it difficult to find materials to make these projects.

Using in a classroom
I am going to use in a classroom this fall, so I will see how the kids react or think about the activities. From what I see most are pretty simple and quick. The harder ones will be a longer project and I am okay with this.

Average book
Used some ideas for naming party food. Need time to do quite a lot of the things suggested in the book
