If your a Python follower a must read.
A must read if you are a lover of all things Python. Its a little hard to follow at the beginning but then again it is Graham Chapman. Enjoy.

Graham goes Gonzo
This stream-of-conscious autobiography provides a Gonzo-style journey that goes from zany to sincere to poignant; it would've made Hunter S. Thompson green with envy. A must-read for any Python fan.

Great read
I'm a big Graham Chapman fan and it was fun to see a bit of how he thought and what was going on in his life at the time. A missed talent and a must read for any Chapman fan.

It just might be great, but the style of the thing wore me ...
This has its amusing bits, but it is certainly not an autobiography in any true sense of the word. Chapman is so busy mystifying and spell-binding that, within a few pages, the reader understands that nothing in the book can be accepted as fact, and in my case, I lost interest in the project. I put it down about a third of the way through and am not sure when I will be in the right mood to give it another shot.It just might be great, but the style of the thing wore me out.

"The bedroom doorpost took a swipe at me..."
Is there any way to encapsulate Graham Chapman's great comedic talent? No. But he tries in his own autobiography, anyway. A gift to those of us who truly appreciate the absurd from the master himself, this book is a must for anyone who enjoys Monty Python and those who just don't get it. After reading this book, I feel I understand this great pouf even more than watching the Python movies.I'm just sad that his last video appearance was in an Iron Maiden video...

What I liked most was being asked if I’d like to “Follow the Author and get new release updates.” ... I thought that was pretty Python of Amazon.

A Tough Read
Graham Chapman was a talented, funny, complex man who had his demons. That's why I thought his autobiography (along with four co-authors) would provide some additional insight into the man. It did but at quite a cost. Parts of it are written in a Python-esque manner where the reader feels as if he is reading a script for a MP episode: footnotes, footnotes for the footnotes........tedious, to say the least. If you're looking for an informative but tiring read, I highly recommend this book.

A Gem And A Rarity!
I loved reading Graham Chapman's autobiography (I have the original hardcover first edition of it), but I had no idea that he recorded an audiobook of it. Extremely rare to have done this back in the 1980s.He is as masterful as ever in telling his own story.

Unfortunate but true title!
Just didn't get it. Certainly not an autobiography in the trusted sense. More an assembly of disjointed, rambling anecdotes, nor helped by dreadful punctuation and lack of spacing. Sometimes the lines were no more than trains of (unconnected) thoughts. The puerile cartoons added absolutely nothing to proceedings. In fact, some of the writing was as unfunny as some of the Python sketches I recall. I hope he enjoyed his life. I certainly didn't enjoy this book.

Wonderful autobiography of one of Britain's brightest ever star
Fascinating autobiography of one of the brightest stars we have ever seen. He died too young, so sad that he virtually drank himself to death, such a remarkable talent, all told with searing honesty, compassion, modesty and wit. We're so much poorer without his voice

Python fans will enjoy the jokey narrative.
Pythonesque in structure but lacking in detail.
