Hurtta Weekend Warrior ECO Dog Collar, Rosehip, 18-22 in

I have several giant breed livestock guardian dogs. I want them to have durable collars that are comfortable. These collars fit perfectly & my dogs love them.

Perfect for my very active herding/working mutt. We do tons of outdoor activities and have a decent amount of property. This collar is comfortable, easy to adjust but secure and highly reflective.Hurtta has proven to be a brand definitely worth the money.

We love Hurtta products and have collar, harness and parka - and highly recommend based on quality and durability.This collar, size 10-14, felt a bit tight at its widest so we ordered the next size 14-18 which was too loose at its tightest. (for reference, we have had the Hurtta Casual Padded Dog Collar 10-14 size for several years; still looking new and well fitting)Also, the padded section of the 10-14 collar is surprisingly short, maybe less than 4" total. It didn't stay centered and didn't cover the throat area. The larger collar has proportionally a larger padded section but our dog could easily slip out of the noose.All in all it was disappointing. This is a really nice product. I always want to find one wide collar so the pressure on her neck would be released a lot. This one satisfies my need.

UPD We have had it for three days and if unfastened and got lost somewhere in the field. There is no way I could have not fastened it well because I always check (with this dog you would, too) as we need to walk across the town to get to those fields and the collar must be secure. I had to walk the "naked" dog and make a slip using the leash in order to lead him home safely. Not happy at all, Hurtta isn't supposed to behave like this.At first, I bought one in Hedge color and 14-18 inch' size. It was a mistake, as my dog's neck is about 17 inches, so the wide part turned out to be very short in the smaller collar. It was too inconvenient to send back, so I put it away until a friend or myself need it, and bought the 18-22 one in Raven, as it was discounted. It fits very well, the wide part is long, the dog is obviously very comfortable and I can recommend this collar; just don't buy a smaller size, even if it still fits, it won't fit well.
