Short Lived Panel Indicators
These indicators are easy to mount and produce an even, soft color which I prefer over the harsh sometimes painful LED lamps. The two indicators I have used failed within one year of 24/7 on time, or about 8,640 hours of use. Their advertised usage is 20,000 hours. But, when working, I like them.I deconstructed one of the indicators and discovered the illuminating element is simply an incandescent bulb. Under magnified examination the filament is clearly visible.
