Read every day
We used this as our morning poetry time and the children loved it. A great combination and variety of poems. Bought the others in the collection based off of this one!

Autumn mixed poetry!
Grate variety of poems with explanations to each one. Adults and children alike will love to dive in each day and read a poem. Some days even have two to choose from! Wether you love the season of autumn or poetry itself, you will very much delight in this book.

An evocative collection for a gentle season
This is a lovely, sometimes quirky, collection of autumnal poetry. I love that the anniversaries of certain events are marked with relevant verses, and the collection of war poetry around Remembrnce Day. The poem choices are often surprising but are so perfectly autumn. Just lovely.

Nice to have on the bookshelf.
I was totally drawn to the cover of this book, so pretty and Autumnal. Some of the poems are a bit "out there" but I am sure if you knew more about poetry than I do would be better appreciated.

Amazing Autumn Companion
I am really so glad I got this. If you're a fan of poetry, a Lit student or even just want to get into it, start with this. You get two beautiful poems a day - one for morning and night... And the front cover is gorgeous!

Grown up readers, not one to judge by its cover
I was, like many others, drawn in by the gorgeous cover. This book has a few autumnal poems, but I'd say it's largely intended to introduce 12-15 year olds to some wider ideas of history/culture through poetry. Each poem comes with an 'explanation' at the top, making it a good school primer. It does make it clear it's a children's book in total fairness, would make a nice present for the right kind of kid that ageBut id say thats about it audience wise. Anyone who expected to read a poem a day about the autumn season, it's not really there - just a very random assortment of poems with the opening blurbs to each page feeling pretty patronising.

A sturdy paperback with flaps like a hardcover book and two poems for each day
Built sturdier than the typical paperback book this volume of poetry edited by Allie Esiri contains two poems for each day from September 1st through November 30th. Eaxh poem reflects the changing of the season and is suited to autumn. Some speak of war, some have a religious tone, some are well known pieces. This book is suitable for children and adults.

Just about the looks..
This book was a total cover buy and also the description promised something very different. The poems choose are not for fall.. thus anthology is not worth buying. It gets one star for the pretty cover.

Some autumn but many are not
I purchased this because of the YT videos of famous people reciting various poems from the book. However, upon receiving, I was disappointed to find many poems that have absolutely NOTHING to do with autumn. What a bummer. It would have been nice if the entire book were autumn poems.
