Kleinn Air Horns HK2-1 Complete Dual Truck Air Horn Package - Black

So i gave this 3 stars simply because the customer service from Kleinn was exceptional. But the product itself isn't that great - I would gave it 2 stars. I had it professionally installed. The compressor it came with died about 2 weeks in, and I only used it a couple of times. Kleinn sent me a new compressor. That one lasted 3 weeks. Both would just run and not actually generate any air pressure in the tank and never shut off. Kleinn sent me an upgraded compressor this time around. That one has worked fine; fills the tank faster and seems to be of better quality than the first 2 I received. BUT....... 5 weeks later - the pressure valve went bad. Luckily I had an additional valve from the 2nd kit that Kleinn sent me. So all in all, I've had the horn for about 3 months, have gone through 3 compressors and one shut off valve. The Kleinn people were responsive and very nice to deal with; were apologetic and helpful. But the product just wasn't of the same quality that their service was.

The Good:When the kit arrived I was very impressed as it was very well packaged. The instructions were separated per component, but still easy to understand and put together. All of the pieces look to be quality built and heavy duty. The install was not bad on my 2016 Denali HD. The hardest part is figuring out where to mount everything, but once you do its pretty straight forward and simple. The sound is just what I was looking for, A loud deep big semi truck sound that is sure to get the attention of other drivers.The Bad:The compressor is VERY, VERY, LOUD and Annoying! I have relocated it 3 times now with the same result LOUD! I now have it mounted directly to the truck frame with a 1/2" thick rubber pad between the compressor and the frame and its still VERY VERY Annoying. Because of this I have a really hard time recommending this kit. I have a similar sized on board compressor for my Air Bags, and its a whole lot quieter.Overall:If it was not for the compressor being so loud this would be the perfect semi truck sound air horn kit hands down with a 5 star rating.

For the shear sound I'd give them a 5, they do sound awesome. The "special" tube of sealant they give you for the threads should be thrown away, just use standard teflon tape. After days of compressor running every 3-5 minutes without using the horn I started investigating for air leaks. Even once all fittings had been redone I put a pressure gauge on it and started removing things. Bottom line, crappy cheap little check valve. Added a solid brass one and it's within reason. Email to tech support said they respond within 24 hrs. Haven't heard from them. Compressor is loud, but common for little buggers.

Horn sounds great. Enough to get your attention but not petrify people or sound overly obnoxious. Setup was intricate and the hose was too short. Set up took approx 5 hours.The compressor is really loud but tank fills up in 30-40 seconds.

3rd day with them.... and they are loud !! I have the whole set up mounted underneath the car, in a fiat Abarth... I didn’t expect them to be this loud.. but so far so good... compressor is loud like everyone mentions, but it’s only on for like 20/30 seconds you’ll live.. I’ll update back in a few weeks on how it’s holding up..

Very loud truck horn kit. This is a complete kit, very high quality. I'll try to describe how loud these horns are -- ok, I can't without swearing. They are really really, painfully loud. The compressor is also really loud (scared me the first time) but fills quickly and doesn't come on very often. Did I mention these are incredibly loud?

The media could not be loaded.  Horns are very loud and it will get the attention of distracted drivers especially the ones that love to text and drive on the freeway. I mounted my compressor and tank in my spare tire well since there was plenty of space. I mounted the horns under the lower grill.
