Gatco 4689F Channel, Framed Oval Mirror, 27.5” H, Chrome

This is a nice mirror, and goes perfectly with the other Gatco Channel items. Beveled edge, high quality chrome hardware, can be installed vertically as well as horizontally. Projects about 2"-2.5" from the wall and can be tilted easily.Installation can be tricky. You need to install the hinges first on the mirror and measure the proper distance for the holes. There is a bit of room for error, as you can install the hinges on the wall a bit more apart (but bot closer to one another). As with the Gatco shelf, you need to use anchors that will allow for the wall brackets to stay flush with the wall.As I said, this mirror can be installed vertically as well as horizontally. BUT, be aware that the dimensions given on Amazon are not correct - they give the dimensions for vertical installation! This mirror almost didn't fit in my case because I needed it installed horizontally. The mirror itself is 31.5" x 23.5". The hinges add about 4" to the mirror (see picture posted for a closeup on the hinge). So, it will be either 31.5" x 28", or 36" x 23.5" (approx).PS: I am working on installing LED lighting behind this mirror as seen here: imgur (dot) com/a/zOMEw so then I'll have a tilting backlit mirror!

We bought two of these for our bathroom remodel. They look great, and we are pleased with them. They were easy to put up and tilt just enough for small children to be able to see themselves without hoping onto the counter. I would give five stars but some of the stickers that came on the mirror were a nightmare to get off. More importantly, I would suggest upgrading the dry wall bracket (is sucks!). I think the price is pretty good for this mirror on amazon (it was more for the same one at my local lowes). Even when buying extra brackets you still come out on top!

Sturdy mounting hardware and looks great. I stretched some wide blue masking tape across the span of the loosely assembled mirror from mount to mount to mark the bracket holes. Then used the tape as a template to make sure the pilot holes were level and centered. Perfect mount on the first try. Including a template in the box would have been appreciated, but hopefully this helps someone.

Overall this is a good mirror. The hardware seems sufficient to adequately hold up the mirror. I think it looks nice and is of decent quality. My only complaint is that the tilt feature isn't that great. If you leave the set screws loose then it won't be very stable and will just want to tilt down. If you firm up the set screws the mirror can't really be tilted. That's how I mounted it.

As advertised. Missing a screw but the screws they include are only good for sheetrock. I installed onto tile so my contractor used his own screws anyway.

Hi. First off, product arrived a day later than 'Guaranteed' as always from AMAZON. Contractors had to come back today to install mirrors and I got charged for the extra day (per diem job). So basically, today cost more than these misrepresented mirrors.THESE MIRRORS ARE NOT CHROME as you would think. MEANING: They are mirrors that are framed with a chrome Channel setting. They should read: BEVELED MIRRORS WITH 2 CHROME PIECES OF PIVOT HARDWARE!Contractors came back late afternoon when the mirrors were finally were delivered (Cost, another 150$, but wasted basically) to install them as part of the job that ended yesterday when they should have been delivered.Opened up boxes after waiting hours for them to arrive and they are literally just pieces of beveled mirrors with small chrome accents. THEY ARE SUPER EXPENSIVE ON AMAZON. Even at HD, they sell the same versions for over 20% less. But....... you can get the ones you are really looking for at HD for 100$. Mirrors set in Chrome Channels (as these appear to be in the pictures and description but are not).Basically, don't buy these if you are looking for something nice or modern. This type of 1985 mirror can probably be bought for 20$ or at a thrift shop.They are not aesthetically pleasing in the least bit. And I am a Neanderthal and not so difficult to please. Go local where you can actually see what you are buying. I made a mistake.

I already reviewed this, but this is the 2nd one we ordered for a double vanity. We are very happy with the quality and design. Very good for the money and it's nice that you can tilt it because my husband and I have a big difference in height.
