The bar is nice and sturdy, but I was pretty disappointed and annoyed to discover that the ends are plastic - like, the super cheap plastic you might get in a McDonald's Happy Meal toy. No, those are probably better. This is the soft-ish crappy stuff they make cheap bathtub toys out of, the kind you might purchase at the dollar store in a 5-pack.Anyway, I'll give them this: They don't LOOK like cheap plastic when you hang them up. You can't tell AT ALL. But they just pop in, so they'll easily pop right off when you're hanging them up or taking them down. I'd say: spend a little more money and get something else. I'm cheap and I didn't want to return them, so I kept mine, but I can't say I recommend them.

This rod is everything I hoped for and at a really low price. The finial is plastic, but who can tell that from above the window anyway. Without actually touching it you would never know. The brackets were easy to hang and it came with anchors for the screws. I didn't use the screws that are in the bracket to hold the rod as I change curtains a lot and didn't think it was necessary to have the rod tightened to the bracket. Size was appropriate for the double window I was using it for. The black is just what I was looking for to go with the other black iron decorations on the walls of my living room. All in all a really great find. Highly recommend.

For the price, you get what you pay for. This works and was super easy to install, but the ends of the curtain rod can easily get bent.

Plastic ends... beyond cheap. I could have gotten better quality for less at the dollar store. Very disappointing but used anyway in a rental property

This product is far below a basic standard for curtain rod. Plastic and very cheap. Would not recommend.

The finials are plastic and not too attractive but they are removable. Since I needed removable finials for the rod to fit the intended space, this was perfect for my needs. I wouldn’t buy these if I intended to use the finials because they do look cheap. The rod is good quality, though, as is the hardware.

I am pleased with the design of these curtain rods. One thing I'd like to change is the depth of the brackets holding the rods. I don't need the brackets to be so deep and hold the curtains rods so far out from the window. I might look for different brackets to replace the brackets this set came with.

For the price was ok but the item wasn’t exactly what I thought it would be.
