Great wireless mouse
This is a great mouse, particularly for the price. The USB receiver is quite small - it only protrudes about 3/8" from the side of my laptop - and it can be stored inside the mouse case when travelling (next to the battery). The mouse has a red/green LED behind the scroll wheel to indicate whether communication has been established with the USB receiver, an on/off button on the bottom which can be used to save battery life, and a latch button to open the battery compartment. The mouse itself is not too big, not too small - just right for my hand while still being small enough to add to the laptop case easily. The feel of the mouse buttons is crisp, and the pressure required to click is not too soft, not too hard. It has the usual left and right buttons, plus a scroll wheel that can be clicked, rolled, and moved left or right. My previous Microsoft mouse's rubber side grip gradually dissolved under where my thumb rests - probably due to the oils in my skin. So I did not purchase another of them, and instead opted for this slightly more expensive Logitech model. So far, the side grip material on this mouse seems to be holding up well, and I remain very happy with it.

Perfect small mouse for my laptop
I love this mouse! I first got one for my laptop 5 years ago, but I beat it to death, so I need to buy another one. It's perfect for my small hands and has all the functions I need (left and right click, scrolling). I love the new wireless receiver, It is so tiny compared to the previous version! It doesn't stick out far and it works instantly! No need to install software and battery is included! If you are looking for a simple mouse, this is the way to go. So many colors to choose from (I love the forest green)!

Great product for the price
Had this mouse for just a few days and really loving it, definitely one of the best budget USB wireless mice I've used. Just the right size to be mobile yet comfortable to use. The left and right buttons are quiet and have the right amount of feedback. Wheel tilting motion is quite nice as well. The reason for 4 star instead of 5 is that the wheel clicking is a little too stiff and sometimes would trigger unwanted scrolling. Also the wheel is slightly louder than I would like (still totally acceptable) when scrolling forward, weird enough that scrolling back is totally fine and not nearly as loud.Regarding other aspects of the mouse, no issue with sensitivity and connectivity whatsoever, but that's kind of a table stake. I like the matte finish and even the forest green color looks pretty (it was the cheapest color). The mouse is very light (mostly because it only takes one AA battery), yet feels overall balanced and solid in hand. Too soon to tell battery life, but judging from other reviews here, it should last at least 6 weeks even if you leave it on 24x7. After all, this nice little gadget with free two day shipping from Amazon Prime all for just 16 bucks, what can I ask for more. Highly recommended.

Great Basic Mouse
I had given up on wireless mice a few years back because the ones I was using were both flaky and needed new batteries too frequently. Someone told me that this was no longer the case and so when I notice the price on this I decided to try once more. I've been very happy with it. It works as accurately as if it is on a wire. The small USB connector is convenient for a laptop as it can be left in for travel or stored in the mouse itself for a bit of added protection. I ended up getting several more of these when they went on sale at a local store.Note this mouse does not have a lot of fancy features like buttons on the side etc. I hate those things as I never need the features they provide. The only "extra" feature on this one is that the scroll wheel rocks from side to side. I don'tuse this feature either, and it does not interfere with "normal" use of the wheel. Also this mouse is on the small side, which I like. It's slightly smaller than a full sized mouse. I feel I get better control this way and it also stores easily in a laptop bag.

Goes Through Batteries Like No Tomorrow
Well, it's pretty and works fine. The only problem is that it goes through one batter every ten days or so, especially if you forget to switch off the very awkward, hard to slide switch on the bottom (first mouse I have ever seen with this stupid feature!). I have a Microsoft mouse for my other computer (no on and off switch!) and one battery will last for literally months and months.I wouldn't buy Logitech again if the M305 is indicative of the poor battery life engineering.

A Smaller Mouse for Smaller Hands
Functionally, this mouse is fine and works like it should. Here's the problem I've found as I've used this mouse for the last week -It's too small for my hand. I have an average size hand for a man and find thatthe mouse is just uncomfortable to use over an extended period of time. For a smaller hand, this might be perfect for you, but for me it's too small.I'm getting rid of it and going to a larger mouse.

Sturdy little mouse!
I have had this mouse for a few months and it is holding up well. My favorite thing about it is the "nano receiver". It is small and compact. I have broken several of the stick type receivers that fit into the USB port. This one does not stick out very far and there really is nothing to break off.The battery life is great. I have not replaced the battery yet. It does have an on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse. I tend to forget to turn it off and the battery is still good! The mouse fits well into the palm of my hand. I have medium sized hands and it feels "just right".I have dropped it several time and it has not cracked and still works like new.Well worth the very affordable price. I plan to purchase another for a stocking stuffer for my son!
