I really hate these cliff hangers.
But the story is good and as long as you KNOW the cliffhanger is coming itâs bearable. The story is worth the annoyance of it too. This thing has me hooked! Each book âfeelsâ like a thick chapter in a book lol

Sometimes we find love where we least expect it
After the traumatic ending to Inside Affair, we pick up right where we left off and get to see Xander and Sean truly start to navigate and understand these feelings they both believed they shouldn't be having for each other. As the terror that brought them together ends, two men who had known each other most of their lives but never looked at the other twice in any way other than friends finally get to explore if what they thought they were feeling in chaotic circumstances was something real, and once they finally admitted their feelings and decided it was time to tell their friends and family, the shit hit the fan in the worst possible way. Will Xander and Sean be able to navigate this new hurdle and come out the other side not only with each other, but with the support and acceptance of the ones they love? I'm not sure, but I can't wait to find out!

Breaking News
Breaking News is the second installment in the Prime Time series. It should only be read after book one, Inside Affair. It is not a stand alone.Breaking News is a continuation of Sean and Xander's story. Sean is Xander's best friend, Bailey, older brother. Sean is a member of the police department and the only person Xander could think of to help him with his stalker. Sean took the the job immediately even though Xander was only asking for information of someone that could help him. Sean didn't trust anyone else to keep Xander safe.To everyone at the station and anyone that saw them together they were "pretend boyfriends" until those pretend feelings turned into something more. While at the stations awards dinner the stalker made his move on Xander, Sean wasted no time coming between them. Sean was injuried and Xander blames himself.Sean has never felt this way, especially for a man but something about Xander calls to him. He can't explain it and he doesn't want to. Sean and Xander spend time together alone while Sean heals and they learn more about themselves and each other. While Bailey understand what's grown between them? Can Sean come to grips with falling for a man?I loved everything about this second installment. I am so invested in these characters. Ella Frank as outdone herself with Sean and Xander!I can't wait for book three!!

The bumps in the road
After the craziness of the conclusion of Inside Affair, we pick up with Sean and Xander trying to figure out what comes next. I really liked how the situation they find themselves in created the opportunity for them to explore their feelings and see how they could fit into each otherâs lives in a bubble. They are somewhat self isolated which letâs them work through things together. It was authentic in its intensity but also in its timidity. New love is like that, especially when you are exploring new boundaries in a relationship that challenges how you perceive yourself. The plot of the middle book in the Prime Time trilogy is a little more relaxed as the characters work on becoming, so donât expect as much plot driven conflict. Itâs more of the bumps in the road along a journey.

Relationships: âMessy and Complicatedâ!
This is the aftermath story involving a traumatic situation between Detective Sean, News Anchor âXanderâ and a crazed stalker. I thought this was a good, intriguing storyline. I felt the connection for and between these MCs. This series reminds me of the beloved âTemptationâ series with its memorable characters, sexy times, and romantic bits. A good read!

A page turner that left me wanting more.
Breaking News is the second part of Ella Frank's tremendous Prime Time trilogy, and it was a real page turner. That grabbed me from the start as it picks up from where Inside Affair ended, and packs an emotional punch. As Sean slowly begins to heal physically from the events at the awards' ceremony that left him fighting for his life, and Xander struggles to heal mentally as he deals with the guilt and the aftermath of the attack and learns more terrifying details about the man responsible.Yet, through it all Sean and Xander continue to grow closer and fall even harder for each other. But that is further complicated by Xander's connection to the Bailey family and one particular member who they're, both increasingly worried about hurting should he find out they are genuinely in a relationship. And I truly enjoyed how the friendship/connection/romance between Sean and Xander developed and slowly lead to them declaring their love for each other. But it wasn't all plain sailing, and that cliffhanger at the end was a biggie, and I can't wait to find out how everything resolves itself; at least I genuinely hope it does đđ¤Would recommend!!!

Obsessed!
I'm so in love with these two it's bordering on obsession!Book one's ending nearly killed me. Book two soothed my soul. Well... until the end but we know nothing will stand in the way of these two!I fell hard for Sean from Bailey's books. He's the gruff moody guy everyone secretly or not so secretly loves. His whole heart opens up in this book and it just made me love him harder. Strong, understanding, protective, and loving. I'm full on gushing all over this man!Xander i think in book one was a little closed off but with what was going on i saw why but here we finally get to see him. I can tell ya i just loved what i saw. He's really kind of vulnerable and i love how he's started trusting Sean with his heart.Great relationship building book that set my heart on fire! I love them! Every time i read an Ella book i'm guaranteed to fall hook line and sinker for the beautiful flawed characters she writes. I can't wait for what i know will be the best happy ever after for these two! Bring it on!

I'm not rounding this up to three because this book was just really boring for me. I still feel like the stalker aspect from the first book could have been done so much better. It was mostly glossed over which I didn't like. Then what continued was this really long drawn out process of Xander and Sean finally getting together properly. I got really bored of the way this was written and their relationship. Then that cliffhanger was unnecessary so I'm not going to continue because honestly, I just don't care enough. The book really fell flat for me as there was barely a plot to it.

5 sweet stars!
This second book of the Prime Time series was all about two people trying hard to heal physically and emotionally after a life-threatening situation and also about same people trying to grow closer and discover each other. Beautiful and sweet moments, emotions, feelings, lust, support and understanding were so well expressed by the author. Don't worry Ella Frank we all love the new couple, we feel the chemistry!5 stars!
