Spotted ZebraBoys' Cotton Ankle Socks

A gift for my grandson (age 2). He loves them.

So my foot size is usually 5.5, sometimes I can wear a 6 in some brands, if I'm lucky. Women with small feet, you know what I mean here.... socks sized 5 - 9 are not made for us. If they can fit a size 9, they cannot fit a 5. Why do these companies insist on vexing us like this? The cute tiny "no show" socks certainly aren't no-show socks for us. All that extra sock hanging out the back looks like our shoes are about to set sail. So I started trying kids socks. Poor children!! Kids' socks are usually thin.... SO thin. It's kind of like a layer of tissue paper and left me with blisters if I wore them for a long day of walking. Sometimes they didn't stay put because they would ride down. And the seams in kids' sock are egregious. I tried one brand of kids' socks and rogue threads kept wrapping around my toes. Enter this brand of socks right here - they're substantial like adult socks. No crazy seams. No weirdness in how they fit. Cute colors and designs that I imagine kids would love and it's a novelty that I can wear them so I'm amused also. (Small foot peers, a perk for us!! You can wear comfortable socks with sharks and monsters on them IF you so desire!!) The only other brand I've found that wears well like this is Amazon Essentials, size 9 - 2.5. These are slightly thinner than the Amazon Essentials. I'd consider these perfect for summer shoes... converse and whatnot. I use the Amazon Essentials kids socks for my Doc Martens, etc. So, for now, I have two brands of socks that will fit me and, sock gods willing, they'll continue to be sold.

Nice material, not to heavy for kids to get their shoes over. Love all the color options.

I love these socks! The designs are adorable. But I will buy it again because they are cotton and so soft! They have held up well to multiple washes so far and I can see them going through a lot more. Not thin either so I don't think my kids toes are going to tear through them anytime soon either.

I was a bit worried about sizing, because my grandchild's shoe size is a 3--right between medium and large. Not helpful if the medium is too tight at toe, but the large is floppy and bunchy inside the shoe. After reading lots of reviews, and much agonizing (my gc needs all new socks for school and I really do not want to give 18 pairs of wrong socks--I am NOT one who wants to mess with returning and reordering) I got the medium. They are perfect!!! and stretch enough to comfortably go on my size 8 foot, so they fit well for a child wearing a size 3 shoe! The fabric is neither too thick nor too thin. Very pleased.

Why didn't I buy more when they were $4? I'll never know, but I'm kicking myself. I came back to buy more and they were marked for over $12. A price increase from $4 to over $12 is quite a jump and a little ridiculous in my opinion. For that reason, I cannot offer you 5 stars.The socks fit my 2.5-year-old perfect. Cute designs. I will buy 2+ more packs, and more in bigger sizes as well. But not at the price currently listed.

Look exactly as shown. Size was perfect. Ankle is a bit small so easily slips off. Bought this for my boy as they have gme related things on them.

Wore them one day and my son got a hole in the toe. One day!!!! Sooo cheap and waste of money.
