My daughter picked this skateboard for her cousin for Christmas. They both road it Christmas day and it seems really well made. My daughter now wants one for herself. And I like that the top is rough so tennis shoes gripped it well. Not sure sandals or flats would be a good idea. Will order one for my daughter's birthday in July.

Great board. I just had to loosen up the wheels a bit and shoot in some WD-40 and now they spin like a charm. It works best if you put your feet directly on top of the bolts. (:

Mom of the year award goes to.... oh yeah me. The kids have been wanting a skateboard for awhile now, and this is the perfect one for beginners. It's lightweight and the waffle grip on top is great. I absolutely love the colors, they're bright and fun!I remember when I was a kid and I had a skateboard, that board was gigantic compared to this retro cruiser! I love the slim design, the kids have been practicing and I have been a nervous wreck. To think back in my day, 80'/90's we didn't wear helmets or anything, guess we were hard core.When the kids do ride, for more than a few seconds, this board glides smoothly. This board is super cute and tiny! I am used to riding on a wooden longboard so this takes a little getting used to. It is a very smooth ride and goes pretty fast. This is not for beginners! The only thing I disliked about it was that if you stood too much in the middle, that the plastic would sort of buckle and bend, which leads me to believe that this should be for children only and not adults. The compact design allows the board to fit in a backpack. I received this board in exchange for my honest review.This skateboard is made of great quality plastic, do mind the weight limit though or the board will start to buckle. The wheels give a super smooth ride and the waffle grip on top is great! Overall all great board for beginners or pros!
