Diode Dynamics921 XPR Cool White Backup LED Bulbs

Easy plug and play application and a huge improvement in lighting on my Lexus ES350 back up lights. Not cheap but money well spent.Update. These bulbs are heavy and fell out of the sockets several times. They advised bending the clips but that didn't work. Finally glued the base to the socket with my wife's hot glue gun. They haven't fallen out since.

After reading the reviews after ordering I was little nervous these wouldn't work for my 24 TRD Pro 4Runner. However they seem to fit super tight and are extremely bright. They are on the expensive side but buy once cry once.

I received these today and installed them in my 2004 (4th gen) Toyota 4Runner to replace some $7/pair LED bulbs from eBay (claiming 15 LEDs @ 1 W each) one of which had failed.Pictures:1) product in its packaging2) left: incandescent right: $7/pair3) left: this product right: $7/pair4) left and right: this product.It looks very promising but I still have to verify how much of an improvement it'll be in the field (forest road).I was debating between the equivalent Lasfit product (claiming 1500 lumen at 13 W per bulb, 1 year warranty) for about a third of the price and this one from Diode Dynamics (claiming 720 lumen at 5.4 W per bulb, 3 year warranty). Both designs seem very similar (16 3030 LEDs arranged in four groups of four), so I was concerned that the much higher wattage of the Lasfit product would lead to a shorter lifespan. In addition, the heat sink on the DD product looks like a better design that provides actual air flow.

I am still in shock on how expensive these lights are but other than that they are extremely bright and that's what I needed.

Bought these to replace the factory halogens. Can actually see when backing up at night now. Only slight annoyance was not realizing the bulbs only go in one direction. Did not notice this at first and had to install one side twice

Don’t fit correctly in the socket. Had to tape them in and am very concerned they will shake out. Shop elsewhere.

Had an issue with one of the bulbs not working correctly, let them know and they got me a new one and I'm good to go. Nice brightness and makes backup camera at night extremely brighter.

These things are unbelievably bright! Easily 20x brighter than my previous stock bulbs and brighter than any other LED bulb out there (I've probably gone through 8+ brands at this point). I have zero problems identifying objects through my rearview mirrors and my backup camera can clear show what's behind me now. Love it.Are they worth $100? No. I waited with price notifications for these to drop down to $50 before snagging them. Worth the wait, and more worth the money.

Super easy to install, bright, and look great! Definitely makes it easier to see when reversing out in the wilderness.
