It's like hearing in HD!
Man, this wireless mic can get loud when you're in a high-volume party chat or game session, but it's great and you can always mute or turn it down! I'm going to make this review quick and sweet:Tired of wires? Purchase this!Tired of accidently yanking the wired mic cord from your controller when you get up too quick? Purchase this!Do you like to roam around about 30ft free? Knowing you can still hear your friends and use the bathroom at the same time? Purchase this!Do you love to eat while gaming and hate having to push that long wired mic piece up in the process? Purchase this!AND do you just love going wifi and fancy the newest technology doo-dads? THEN PURCHASE THIS!Overall, this is what you need to buy if you're in need of a mic upgrade, yeah it may cost alot but it's totally worth paying Bill Gates. In order to buy a wireless Xbox mic with this kind of price (a price of a videogame), you can't be afraid of spending money. You just have to buy it and never think back on how much it costed. You have to keep it charged of course, but I have no problems with this because it only takes a good 3 to 4 hours to charge (well atleast for me) and it lastes up to 8 hours of your gaming session and many hardcore gamers play about that amount of time. You can plug the USB into your PC or your Xbox (even if the 360 is turned off).It took me a minute to get use to the earloops that came with the mic, but I managed to find a relaxing point behind my ears to be satisfied with my newest 360 product. Though, it will hurt your ears alittle, but nothing a man or woman can't handle, the short ache behind the ears after taking the mic off goes away in no time. ENJOY THIS FOLKS (or whoever you're copping it for)! Get it if you/they complain of wires. You/they won't regret it, especially while you/they are having to do some mobile multi-tasking. (Toliet breaks) :)And I ordered mines all here from the #1 online shopping site: Amazon.com

Works surprisingly well!
Honestly, I didn't think I'd like how it feels on my ear. It's actually VERY comfortable. I had to attach the larger of the two ear pieces. It's a little tough to pull the ear piece off though. I had to tug a good bit, but I was afraid at first that I might break it pulling it off. That didn't last too long. lolThe battery lasts pretty long for me. It's REALLY nice that like the wireless controller it turns off when you turn your system off. When I need to plug it in to charge it I just plug it in whenever I go to bed since the system doesn't have to be on in order to charge it. By the time I wake up it's fully charged. I normally only sleep about 8 hours. So it may acutally take less than that.Final Verdict: Buy it, but keep your old wired headset for when you need to charge the thing. Also, you have to talk at a normal level. Not quite like you kind of can with the wired headset since it's farther from your mouth. Clear voices on both ends and works great all around.

A Child of Microsoft's Monopoly
I was excited to begin using this headset, and connecting it only took more than a moment of my time; but I began regretting this purchase shortly after.Originally, I bought this headset so that my hair wouldn't get messed up by a clunky headband, but this headset was far from the paradise I expected. The people I was playing with noted that there was a significant decrease in my voice quality from my previous headset, a hand-me-down generic Input-Output headset from the 90's.Mind you, this makes me much more mobile than any other product out there, and there aren't any wires for me to deal with (Hallelujah!).The battery charge cycle takes a while, though; just under two-thirds the life of the battery.I'll also note that I had trouble getting the microphone to recognize my voice, and there was no way to increase sensitivity besides the built-in system preferences. Caveat: I am soft-spoken.I got this product for just under $50, including shipping; I think it was worth $30.Pros: Mobile, Simple, ElegantCons: Quality Loss, Battery Charge Time, Sensitivity IssuesGood for: Light to Heavy Gamers (1-5 hours), People with full voices,Avoid if: Very heavy gamer (6+ hours in one sitting), Soft-spoken individuals, Wired or over-the-head headsets are viable.Final Verdict: Not worth the money unless you know what you're getting yourself into. This headset is clearly the result of nonchalance on the part of Microsoft.

Good product
This was a good product. It had good sound quality, and it looked less noticable than the wired headset. One critical factor i'm concerned with is the battery life. It doesn't last very long at all, maybe three hours of gaming straight, and it's dead. You have to recharge it, which you can USB charge from the console with the included USB recharging cable. A thing I like is that it signals that it charges the device even if the console is off; as long as it's plugged in, it will charge. So, it lasts about three hours, and like an hour charge, despite its claim to last 8 hours on a 6 hours charge. The volume buttons are useful, the power button easily mutes it, which is good. The mic works well. The ear loop takes some getting used to, I admit, but before you know it you can just slip it on.

Works Great!
After reading all the negative reviews I was hesitant...but ordered it anyway. After a couple weeks I must say it works great! Charges just fine. Seems to last forever. I used it for 7 hours over the course of a week before I recharged it and even then it only showed that it was half dead. I use a wall usb charger to charge it though and I'm not sure if thats helping it but no complaints. My friends say they can hear me fine. I have had it disconnect on me twice but it reconnected immediatly so no issue. I hope this helps. I'm a 31 year old gamer. Oh and it does take a couple days to get used to. The first couple days my ear was a little sore as if I had been on the phone for a while. But still for casually playing Modern Warfare 2 it helps so much than using my turle beach x4's and my wife doesn't complain that I'm ignoring her. But the X4's are still better for serious gaming and a lot more expensive.

Don't buy
Randomly drops connection and tested with multiple controllers. Audio will cut oats high Times and then kick back in. On the positive side it's got great battery life. On the downside the seller claimed he was cleaned and sanitized, I may have been sanitized but it certainly wasn't clean as my wife needed to get a toothpick and scrape all the gunk out of all the crevices of the headpiece.
