Anthony Veer Men’s Sherman Penny Loafer Leather Shoes

Shoes came in very well package, I always buy size 8.5 and my son size 9. This was 8.5 looks very nice. But size not true and luckily my oldest son wear a size bigger than me so I gave it to him and even he felted shoe size was a little big for him too. so I just reorder a size 8 for me since this shoe looks very nice and seem comfortable.

I was really disappointed with these shoes. The soles are not leather but some sort of hard plastic made to look like leather. These shoes are very low quality and will fall apart. If you have any experience with leather dress shoes like allen edmonds you will notice the cheap feel to these immediately.The box arrived with torn sides, but I don’t think that’s a big deal. I can’t comment on the fit as I never put them on. The quality of the suede upper seemed ok, but I didn’t look too closely at it as after one look at the sole the shoe went right back into the box and I started the return. The color is slightly different than the picture but it wasn’t hideous.Overall - don’t waste your time or money on these.

OK, it's Chinese, but maybe exactly because of that they offer very good quality for a reasonable price. First class presentation as well (it comes with a brass shoehorn and 2 bags). Overall, I would definitely recommend it. A suggestion: the inner shoe tip could be a little higher.

The media could not be loaded.  I often stand for extended periods of time at my job which requires me to pay special attention to the shoes i wear. I also like a heightened degree of comfort in relation to dress shoes or any shoe due to a slight inconsistent with my feet. One foot is slightly larger than the other. Though this difference in foot size is very minuscule it can cause discomfort leading me to explore the most comfortable dress shoe design out there. The loafer is the most comfortable style of dress shoe i know of with the only thing being more comfortable a high end sandal of some sort but i am almost certain most workplaces would not tolerate a sandal. That brings us back to the loafer which is a slip on affair and that is great for me.I have a decent shoe collection and i have to honestly say this is the nicest loafer i have ever owned other than one or two other pairs.The video i have included shows the unboxing process which i usually do not show. I felt it was absolutely necessary to show the unboxing due to the extremely classy packaging as well as the accessories that are included.Even the cardboard shoe box was cool with it being super thick and sturdy - almost plastic like. The beginning of the included video is a little dark but if you stick with it i click on a nearby lamp so you can see the close up details.The visual appearance is great with the lighter brown color being a perfect match for many sport jackets i own.I mentioned at the beginning of the review how i stand a lot at work and need a fine balance between a great looking shoe and a comfortable shoe.The extra bottom support is the real deal to the extent of myself noticing immediate results. When i stand at a computer behind the hotel desk (i am a night manager at a hotel) i have to switch how i stand or else i receive a jolt of pins and needles. With these loafers i did not experience the restriction that leads to the blood flow being compromised.I am super happy with this pair of dress loafers by the Anthony Veer brand which i am new to and will pursue in the near future for additional shoes.I highly recommend these shoes.

My first impression of these shoes was 'wow', really quite a nice premium package they come in. The box is nice, the shoes are individually wrapped, and there is also some other unexpected surprises: 2 soft fabric drawstring bags (1 for each shoe), some extra insoles, and a shoe horn with a carrying bag. It's just an impressive looking package and all looks and feels nice.Some thoughts on the actual shoes. I selected the honey brown calfskin suede. The suede is somewhat rough looking (not in a bad way) and textured. I think this style is somewhere between casual and dressy. The sole of the shoe has some texture but is not very grippy. The inside of the shoe has a soft leather ortholite insole. I personally like the feel of a leather insole on dress shoes.I typically wear a size 11, and with dress shoes typically go for 10.5. With 10.5 these feel like a perfect fit, though when I took a few steps the back slides down a little bit. I inserted the extra insoles that came with the shoes and now the shoes don't slide off at all.Overall these are a comfortable, well made, really nice pair of shoes, and I've added a 2nd pair to my wish list (the black ones) for a new pair of dress shoes - these will be my somewhat dressy business casual shoes. Getting a 2nd pair is the highest compliment I can give so I would say they did a great job with these.
