Cricut Shape Cartridge, Ornamental Iron II

This is definitely one of Cricut's better cartridges! The designs are very nice and turn out well! I have no use of a lot of the "child/teen" oriented cartridges so when I find a nice mature themed cartridge, I go for it! This one is a must have! While I really don't have use for the kiddie type cartridges & the ones for the "tween" types, I do feel most of the cartridges are themed for that age bracket and I personally feel the designs are somewhat ridiculous to say the least! That's why I like this type of cartridge. You can do so much more with this cartridge than you can the juvenile ones! I've only had this cartridge a short time & have used it for several birthday cards. It makes great cards for a man or women! This is really one of the more versatile cartridges that Cricut offers! It's a great addition for any ones collection! This one was also sold at a very very reasonable price. I had been looking for this cartridge for a while and all others I checked on were much higher in price! The shipping was free and to be quite honest...to my surprise and shock, it was extremely fast! Most "free shipping" seems to take forever, and this was a perfect example of, "there is no excuse for slow, free shipping" ! If this package could get to me so quickly, so can the others! It seems to me that the slowest shipping comes "free"! I highly recommend this cartridge and this seller!

Great cartridge, I have used it only a few times, but glad that all went well when I did. Thanks, again, Amazon for having this cartridge at a lesser rate than the Cricut store.

Pretty and detailed. However, it's hard to get smaller cuts off the mat without destroying the piece. Wish cricut would put recommended cutting sizes on detailed items. Have ruined SO many things because the cut was too small to get the finer details.

I have only recently started using my Cricut machine, and wasn't sure where to start. There are alot of cartridges out there to choose from, so I wanted to make sure I chose wisely as some of the cartridges can be expensive.I chose Ornamental Iron 2 because I thought it looked more versatile, and I wasn't wrong. I particullary like the fact that it also cuts the 'shadow' of the shape you require.The designs are intricate and ornate. I also like the fact that some of the shapes can be used as frames for pictures etc.Definitely worth the money.
