I change out banners in my window for most holidays or seasons. This was exactly what I was looking for. It's made of stiff durable burlap and comes pre-strung on twine. The letters are printed in bright white paint and seems like it won't rub off; not sure if it will withstand direct sunlight though. I love the length as well. Most banners I've purchased are about 6ft in length and I always have to either re-string it or attach extra string for it to fit my window. This shouldn't be an issue if you're going to string on a mantle or fireplace; it's plenty long and you can trim the string if need be. Overall, a recommended buy.
