These brushes have been amazing for my thin and easily breakable hair. I was having issues with my hair getting pulled out by normal dye brushes and the dye being stuck on the brush. These are wonderful time-savers and all the dye goes onto your hair. I haven't had any issues and have been able to do my roots much faster using less dye than usual. Clean-up is very quick and easy. Brush will dry quickly, but they will stain. Bought a second set as a backup since I'm clumsy but they are still in good shape after several touch-ups and more than a few drops.

Best damn brushes I've ever used!I purchased these brushes for primary bleaching/coloring/toning as many brushes I have purchased before were all eatenup (no matter what the guarantee from the company)!I was so grateful for this product and to be able to find it on Amazon!Pros: The brushes are study. Great craftsmanship (silicone does not jiggle, locked in and secure in brush)You have two options if you want a flat brush or one with teeth (the faux bristles).Application of dye/toning goes on smoothly and evenly each time!After each use, wash with soap and water! Dries immediately! And ready to go back to work!It is also very easy on the hands as I have arthritis I can attest to what is joint friendly!The brush also feels very nice on the scalp unlike the bristles I have used on clientsin the past.The only "con" which I wouldn't necessarily label a negative is the brush is hot pink! :)If you're not much into pink, then it might be a bit of setback for you. It is, ladies and gentleman, justa brush. (Perhaps, the seller may have different colors upon request. Then again, that is something you mustask on your own time if that is what you want. I wish I had found these brushes years ago! I am platinum blonde and bleach really does a number on your scalp no matter what you do. Those regular bristle brushes scrape your scalp and make it even more sensitive to bleach. Not to mention, if you want to put a treatment or toner after you bleach, you can't take the pain because your scalp is so sensitive after the treatment. Same goes for regular hair dying. You scrape the scalp with the bristles and it leaves your scalp sensitive after the dye has been sitting on your head for 45 minutes that if hurts to scrub your head to take that dye or bleach off. You know what I'm talking about.These silicone brushes still keep application simple, except every time it touches your scalp, you don't feel the scraping. The only way I can describe the silicone is imagine those cupcake silicone cups but much thicker, yet soft. So you feel almost relief the second you try these brushes for the first time. It is like night and day. I would recommend these to anyone that is either a hair color expert or even if you dye your own hair at home. Your scalp will never be sensitive after a treatment ever again.

Love these brushes. I bought them to touch up my roots with permanent hair color between doing a whole head root job. When I do my whole head I use the squeeze bottle that comes with my L'Oreal hair color. For the touch up, I mix a teaspoon of color with a teaspoon of developer, and use one of these brushes to touch up my part, hairline, and temple area, where my very light grey roots show up starkly against my brown hair color. Then, I just close up those little bottles and save them for a future touch-up.These brushes allow a very efficient application of the haircolor, very neatly. I'm very happy with this product.

A great tool for those of us who relax our hair! I'm able to apply the relaxer quickly without scalp irritation.
